Breitbart.com : Duke lacrosse accuser charged with murder

I do not think it is her false allegations against players on the Duke Lacrosse team that stigmatizes this woman. She is just upset that she never got her big payday. This is a woman without morality of any kind. She will strip for cash, she will lie about others, she will kill people. Sounds like she has hit a lot of the checkmarks for being devoid of morality to me.

Breitbart.com : Conservative TV network makes debut in Canada

I fail to see the point in telling the investors for the new Canadian conservative news channels that they are just like Fox News. If they are like Fox News then they will rapidly gain more viewers than all other cable news networks combined. It sounds to me that the critics are just verifying how sensible this move would be from a financial standpoint. While the venture sounds very reasonable and potentially profitable, I doubt that the Canadian media gestapo will approve the licensing of the station. The liberals are not going to let a dissenting voice on the air because they really do not believe in freedom of the press in Canada. They like it with only liberal views on television.

Not all terrorists have been muslims, but very close to it. Close enough to say that being a muslim is reason enough to take a further look at you for security purposes.

It just shows how inane the soccer fans are. The very idea of rating players and teams according to how ugly they are is all about show and speaks nothing toward substance. I laugh at the people who even think this is important or worth doing at all.

Breitbart.com : Black conservative tea party backers take heat

I find it interesting that black Americans would expect other black Americans to support a political figure based entirely on their skin color. Isn't that the very definition of racism? Does judging a person by the color of their skin become any better just because blacks are the ones doing it? I think the very fact that such things are taking place is clear proof that blacks, like any other race, are capable of racial discrimination. But after what black Americans have had to endure to win their freedoms, I feel it is especially ignorant for them to dishonor them in this fashion. "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character." Rev. Martin Luther King Jr. So is this practice of persecuting blacks for exercising their freedom to decide their own politics in keeping with the dreams of Reverend King? I think not. I think it spits on every ideal that Dr. King fought for.

CSMonitor: USA : Political extremism: Not so easy to categorize / The Christian Science Monitor - CSMonitor.com

The CSM betrays their own bias when they list extremist groups toward the start of the article. Note that they are happy to point out a laundry list of right wing extremist movements but where are the mentions of the left wing nuts? I see no discussion of the Weather Underground, Black Panthers, Symbionese Liberation Army, Earth Liberation Front, The Ruckus Society, Recreate 68, and many many others. I am certain that even a quick Google search would have gleaned the names of several left wing nutball organizations that could have been listed. But even that trifling pittance seems to have been more effort than the CSM will take in providing true balance to their reporting.

Big Journalism : CNN Overnight Thread: Liberals, Atheists Are Smarter Than Conservatives; They Sing Better, Too

Dr. Kanazawa has consistently been guilty of taking a subjective measure such as attractiveness and linking it to some quantifiable number. He once had a study that stated attractive people have more female offspring. But who decided who was attractive and who was not? This study is no different. We do not have any truly reliable measure for intelligence. The results of IQ test can vary from day to day on the same participant. The daily variance is nearly as large as the variance that Kanazawa states between liberals and conservatives. Does that mean that we are inherently smarter or dumber on given days? Many, many scientists have challenged the value of IQ tests, and rightfully so. They do not consistently measure many different subtle aspects of human intelligence. For example, standard IQ testing has incorrectly given the impression that autistic children are mentally retarded as well. Standard IQ tests have also been shown to display a significant difference based on cultural influences. The more we learn about intelligence in humans, the more we discover that it is not possible to quantify it in the manner that these tests seek to accomplish. Therefore, the results that Dr. Kanazawa has collected are of little real scientific value and a waste of any money spent to collect them. Dr. Kanazawa has in this case gone even farther. He has used two subjective measures and compared them to each other. I challenge any person to define what a liberal or conservative actually is. Since he is using "self-identified" liberals and conservatives his study hinges on the subjective judgment of each person and how they view themselves. It is well known in psychological circles that we often have less of a real understanding of ourselves than the people around us do. The ability for delusion and rationalization is very real and seriously impacts our capacity to see ourselves truthfully. This entire study is nothing but junk science and serves only to inflame and manipulate. It is exactly the type of garbage that has turned science into nothing more than another form of propaganda. He should be ashamed of himself for even performing this ridiculous study.
