The article indicates only plans are being drafted up to punish Israel. Carrying them out, or parts of it, is another matter. Israel and the U.S., are not one, and they have different goals. This should only teach us not to place undue reliance on anyone for our survival. Israel has made friends with countervailing powers so that U.S. will think twice before it acts.
