continuence.........I believe it will take just one day of no one to sign that loan, or take an order at a resturant, no one to take their dry cleaning, no one to park their cars, no one at the drive up window at the bank...for our message to get across.. and if your boss says you will be fired if you stay home, dont say nothing, call in sick... this site is based on peaceful ideals that we as a people should adhear to... so .. here is a way to do something peacefuly...we arnt holding up signs walking in the streets, no gathering of groups for them to call out the troops on... we arnt out name calling or slinging hate retoric..blaming this group or that group...we are not out screaming the republicans or the demacrats did this to us... no slaming those in office..... no!.. we are quietly showing our soladarity with our sister and brother Americans ...call me crazy, but I seem to remember an old saying .. there is power in numbers...lets show our numbers..
hi everyone; I put this on the vent page because I wasnt sure where to post... I think here is a better place...... I keep seeing people ask, "what can we do in group to show our support for the people, yet get the message to the government how dissatisfied we are, peacefuly?" ..well I humbly think I have an answer... in the 70's we had sit ins..why not do that again.. only this time do it at home..we already had one new tea party last month, now this idea for sending tea bags.. why not have a new independence day as well.... july the 1st..everyone who can from one end of the country to the other.. stay home.. dont go to work!.. if you are not a first responder, in the medical field, or police officer, .. stay home.. gather the kids around you.. have a cookout in your back yard with friends...our government thinks they run things.. let them go to work at the schools, shops, banks, let them drive the big rigs across the country, pick up trash, wait on tables, cut hair, deliver the goods to markets, ... continued because for some reason I cant post full blogs ??
Hi comeandgetit, I agree on the venting views... however, I am not sure my posts are being seen as I posted on three different threds, and made a big post of my own and that was over an hour ago and still havent seen a one... not sure I will see this one...
very true terry, and I also agree that the tax code needs to change... but along with that needs to be a stronger watch dog on unions, .. granted they made the work place safer, and regulated the wage, but the wages grew so much and at what cost.. as wages grew, so did prices to match union wages, and that left out those who were in non union jobs, and the smaller companies hurting... and led to companies moving the jobs out of the usa when the government opened up free trade.. to find lower opperating costs..again.. unions ..... I believe a cap needs to be put on the unions and, not only government spending, but on prices of goods and services.. let wages of none unions catch up.. its seems to me if there is more money in the hands of the common people, then those up the chain will make more as well..

actually they are and have been trying to call for one, unfortunately it will be to the detriment of the USA because they are wanting to abolish the constitution.... IE.. re write it.... google it darrin... last count they only needed two states to call one
