I just want to state for the record, that I am a strong defender of Justin, his work and his general disposition. Has he made errors in judgement? Sure. But unlike his detractors, he has always been open and honest (as far as I can tell) about the accusations set against him, and he has retracted those things that needed retracting. Justin is young, and human, and will make mistakes as he continues his admirable work for freethought, scepticism and atheism. He'll bounce back from this stronger, wiser and better well known and prepared. There is no such thing as bad publicity.

I don't follow any blog networks now that align with Atheism+, because they are a bunch of toxic ne'r do wells that are institutionally incapable of observing the crass and offensive behaviours they accuse others of, and whilst I say that there is no such thing as bad publicity, I think that only applies to those that show an ability to rise above their previous misdemeanors and make concerted efforts to move on. Atheism+ will get a lot of publicity from this, for sure, but their rigidity and intolerance will - over time - begin to bore and alienate people. By blocking these people, I have already starved them of the oxygen that is their voice. I wonder how many others have done the same. I am simply appalled at the entire movement.
