Hey, Ive just jailbroken my 3G with a powerbook g4. I downloaded a custom_restore_ipsw online and used that. Is you phone unlocked? If it is, download an IPSW that is NOT activated!!!!

You cant reverse engineer someone elses work. thats illegal. Jailbreaking isnt. What you want is. Sorry. It's hard to open an ipa/app and modify. Just email tappulous and ask them. Use xCode on a mac.. main rule.. get a mac!

If theyre all legit apps (appstore) and all your settings will be saved. Just use RESTORE and just run quickpwn later.

Yes. Use QwkPwn when its released.. Ultrasn0w should fix the baseband issue if you're worried about an unlock.

Can the CPU on a 3G be unlocked to full speed? I know it was raised higher back in the 1.x days by about 20mhz.. I'd like to have mine run at 600+mhz.

Not Dev Mode Its: These Devices are permanently “locked” into testing mode and cannot be restored to an earlier release of iPhone OS. Bear this in mind before installing the software.
