I agree- a year is not enough! Lets tie him to a pole and beat him! He looks like a VERY sick individual and if he is capable of treating a an animal like this I am sure he is capable of this violence with humans! PUT HIM AWAY and throw out the key! What a sicko!

If she is such a "good" person then she should know "wrong from right" and she was severly "wrong" in this case. She should have refused him anything and contacted the authorities right away. Please dont play the sympathy card of - "she's a single mom blah blah blah" there are lots of them out there that would never have done this- so dont give them a bad name!

It is shameful and "Dad" should step in and do the right thing. He especially should know how terrible it is to struggle and to want to better one self- especially when being at a disadvantage. Like I said before, acknowledge Justin's accomplishment and then make a donation for the same amount to another kid for either sports or academics-

So... this really could also be about "ethics" - not Justins- but his fathers. How about if Justin "accepts" the scholoarship and Mr. Combs makes a "donation" for the same amount so another player or maybe even an "academic" student can receive funding. He could even put it in his son's name. When someone is worth almost a half of billion "Dad" and they think its "ok" to accept any money I think it unethical-especially in these financial times. I also think Justin should be acknowledged for his work- and maybe this could solve both.

Its sad that we are in a time when it is still legal to "vote" on somebodys basic human right. The protesters may submit their signatures however it will never take this down. Most of their votes come from Eastern WA and Seatlle wins every time- because we belive in EQUAL RIGHTS!

Why is it encouraging to take someones human rights??? Your post is offensive- and by the way- the idea of marriage did not orginate in religion. You should truly be ashamed of yourself..

Yes, why did they let "animal" control get involved? I would have personally kept the dog and let them know I "found' him however I would have never turned him over- especially if he looked abused in any way. I am sure these people had the best intentions, however I seriously pray that this case is investigated. What a travesty that they wanted to take on this dog regardless of his condition- how or what organization could be so cruel!!
