Daily Camera.com: : Jonathan Hager: Tina Harris is a real leader for Erie - Boulder Daily Camera

Why would Tina want a recommendation from Hager who secretly moved out of Erie to Boulder then illegally continued to serve on the board until the public found out about his unscrupulous ways and forced him to quit his board seat.

Daily Camera.com: : Bitterly divided Erie trustees fail to fill empty seat - Boulder Daily Camera

Jonathan Hager is fighting to keep his seat in Erie. The code says you much live in Erie to serve Erie. Instead he has apparently living in Boulder with his mistress for 6-9 months. Paul Ogg resigned the minute he learned he could not live in Erie. Jonathan's family values are atrocious and his trustworthiness is even worse. The board must act to stop this embarrassment.

Colorado Hometown Weekly : Special prosecutor: Erie Mayor Joe Wilson did not violate town\'s ethics code - Colorado Hometown We

I think John Aguilar is doing dirty work here. To ignore the real story about Moore and Gruber ethics as Moore and Gruber dreamed up this complaint then voted town dollars to pay for an investigation. Did they recuse themselves from that vote even though they were behind the preparation of the baseless complaint against the mayor? Is Aguilar ignoring this, yes! Are you kidding me John. This should get state and national press and will. The even bigger story is how the local journalist tries to help cover the coverup by ignoring the real story. Aguilar showing his true colors and incompetence here.

Daily Camera.com: : TV host Aaron Harber dreams of carbon-neutral community in Erie - Boulder Daily Camera

Here we go again, another suck-up John Aguilar story that is spinning fiction with lazy research and weak facts. This is crazy. John again doing a story about saving the planet while supporting the troops. This is almost getting amusing if it wasn't disgusting that the camera would support continued lazy reporting from a left wing freak reporter. All these buzz words are John Aguilar fiction. Stop oil drilling in Erie, create good recycled gray water and find a way to make sure communities are built so that trustees feel as though that are into economic development even if they know nothing about it. Even the Daily Camera knows that John Aguilar has been short sided accidentally on purpose. Let's get real! Aaron is a total fake!

i Sounds like the Judge suspects the RO is simply a trick by tenant. My guess is that no way does a Judge grant a permanent restraining order. Temporary RO's are basically automatic, but permanents are a different story. I don't know who's right in this dispute, but it belongs in civil court, not here. The Boulder camera clearly loves smearing this guy at every turn. He must not be their brand of politician...., I'm guessing.

Daily Camera.com: : Erie Mayor Joe Wilson\'s role as landlord attracts police attention - Boulder Daily Camera

Some folks would rather print stories to sling mud at folks that don't want to smoke ganja in Boulder and support folks that don't pay their rent and who don't abide by their lease. For folks to make the excuse that they shouldn't need to abide by the lease because nobody enforced their infractions for a long time is a really poor excuse. Then for the Daily Camera to sling mud at this landlord because he is a mayor and not one of theirs is extra sad. When Mayor Andrew Moore apparently went after a Erie resident with a baseball bat the paper seemed to have missed it this story despite heavy police involvement but when our current mayor tries to enforce a lease the paper finds plenty of ink to spin this into the mayor being the villain. Shameful paper!

Daily Camera.com: : Vision for Erie Municipal Airport\'s next 20 years takes off - Boulder Daily Camera

It appears you are an uninformed, misinformed, misguided, hater or simply need more information. First, the airport already has a lot of jet traffic and they are the quietest aircraft on the field, about 10 times more quieter than a helicopter. The jets also climb straight up fast and leave where small airplanes and helicopters beat around the pattern and homes creating lots of noise. The airport is not looking for larger jets but only to make the airport safer for those that are already using the airport. Second, the Erie taxpayers pay ZERO $'s for the airport while the airport supports 20 businesses and draws people to Erie. The airport creates $12M in economic activity for the local economy not $16M like Aguilar reports. This is via the CDOT study. Please read the CDOT study and then report back with your new found knowledge.

Sorry but your reasoning here makes ZERO sense. You are either misinformed or an airport hater just because it is entertaining for you.
Well, just of the top of my head: * Papa Johns * Lazy Dog * New Liquor store off Hwy 7 * New Gas Station & Convenience Store on County Line Rd. * New Mexican Restaurant in Old Town * New Coffee Shop in Old Town * New Wine and Paint Business in Old Town * New Retail for Arts Coalition of Erie * New Funded 2700 Home Subdivision that will bring roof tops and many businesses I am sure there are more and many good things in process including probable big boxes but I only know what I see or hear on the street. The Chamber is a good source as well in Old Town.

It appears that Erie has made tremendous progress over the last couple years. Mayor Wilson has done a great job helping prospects and current businesses feel important. I have heard the mayor on his radio program and really like the concept of streamlining processes for businesses. Also, I do think the mayor and other trustees leaders did a great job with the town administrator refresh. And so far it appears that whole board did a great job picking the new town administrator who is definately younger and who appears to be much more pro-business. Mayor Wilson has already made great progress and I think his work must definately continue for the good for our town. It is also great that it appears Trustee Ogg will run again as well.

Daily Camera.com: : Erie wants role in U.S.-China relations - Boulder Daily Camera

I think this is more than worthwhile. Even if China connections do not pan out, going on this mayoral delegation with 10 other mayors to share ideas and learn about what is working well in their town is invaluable. These relationships can be invaluable in the future as well as ongoing ideas about economic development will be shared. Obviously all of these mayors are proactive when it comes to economic development so they will be great people to stay in touch with to learn about great ideas that might work in our town. Folks spewing negative thoughts on this are either being very short sided or it is based more on a personal agenda rather than appreciation for hard work. The EEDC is looking for $60,000 from our town budget next year with no real measurable results. To spend $3,000 for our mayor to bond with 10 other mayors who are pro-economic development seems like a worthwhile investment to me. We could also find investment resources in China that we can call upon when good opportunities present themselves to our town. Let' s be proud and get on board with supporting this great upside.

I think this is more than worthwhile. These relationships can be invaluable in the future as well as ongoing ideas about economic development will be shared. Obviously all of these mayors are proactive when it comes to economic development so they will be great people to stay in touch with. As for China efforts, we don't know what we don't know yet but there very well could be connections that will help us. If nothing else, we might find investment sources that are interested in our town and the growth that will happen and we can call upon these resources as we have deals present themselves. The Erie Economic Development Council is looking for $60,000 next year and we have no measurable return on our investment for past contributions. To spend $3,000 for our mayor to explore China opportunities while bonding and sharing ideas with 10 other mayors seems like it is a very worthwhile investment. For the people on here spewing negativity here, it just does not make sense and it appears as more of a personal agenda rather than genuine thoughts of considerations for efforts that others are taking on our behalf.
