I took the second test again today and passed. I am now A+ certified. Now I start the process of getting a paid internship until the call center is up and running. The company managing the call center also has been awarded an IT contract for the DoD, as well as the original DoA IT contract. If I choose, I can now attempt to get certified for the DoD call center. That means getting the Security cert and the Microsoft Windows cert. But for now, I really need money coming in. But at least I can breath a little. I actually heard 'Ride of the Valkyries' in my head as I saw my score. And most of the stuff that i need to know for the test, I will never use. The call center will be taking calls from employees from the Dept of Agriculture. Windows XP is part of the objectives for the test but I doubt I will ever take a call about it. I wrote a bunch of stuff down before starting the test. It helped because then I didn't have to take time to think it through. I could just look at what I wrote down. And you don't have to remember it anymore then. LOL I also really focused on the exam report and really studied the objectives I didn't do well in the first time. I still got some of the same ones wrong, but not all of them, obviously. Lat time I scored a 655 so I definitely did better. Now I can breathe a little and start focusing on the second test in a few days and will likely take that one in a few weeks. I needed at least 675 points out of a possible 900. I got 655. The test also provides a breakdown of the areas where I missed questions so I can focus on those before taking it again. There were about six questions that were simulation that I didn't expect but will the next time. I will probably just focus on the second test now and study for that one. I just hope my savings last long enough. I don't have a whole lot of money left. Anyway, it was nice bantering again. It really just covers the components of a computer and their functions etc. The second test focuses on operating systems, networking, security, laptops, cellphones, and printers and troubleshooting all of them. Most of the stuff on the second test is new to me while the computer components, I am familiar with since I did research years ago about building my own system. Too many people are willing to easily dismiss Rand Paul because of his father. And there are only two other potential candidates that could win but most likely won't run. They may in the future but not in 2016. Chris Christie, while likable has problems on gun control, global warming to name a few. Jeb Bush isn't even likable. And he defends amnesty and Common Core. Scott Walker expanded Medicaid as part of Obamacare. He isn't strong against Common Core Ben Carson, while likeable as well, has some problems with his gun control stance. And yes I know he walked that back some. But that only means he is willing to say what people want to hear. At this point, Cruz, Mike Lee and Rand Paul are the best chance. And it is likely that Paul is the only one that might even run in 2016.
