This should mean that Davis should drop all her suits and appeals. She will have what she wants, and gay couples can still get legally get married. Who wanted her name on their marriage cert anyway. The only signatures that are important to the couple are their own, the witnesses and perhaps the officiant. The person who issued the cert has nothing to do with the couple, the wedding or the marriage, it's only a clerical function. The clerk's name should never be on a license anyway. You don't see a clerks name on a Drivers License or a warranty deed.

Kentucky's governor-elect to remove clerk names from state marriage licenses

Kentucky Governor-elect Matt Bevin said on Friday that when he assumes office next month he will change the state marriage license form to appease clerks who have objected to issuing licenses to same-sex couples.

"One thing I will take care of right away is we will remove the names of the county clerks from the marriage form," he told reporters in the Capitol rotunda.

Bevin said he would make the change by executive order.

There should also be a Power Bottom of the year award, and call it the Joey Stefano.
I'll even nominate you every year. :)

Not that I care one bit about Kim and the Pope, but for what it's worth:

@Reuters
Senior Vatican officials say there is a 'sense of regret' over Pope Francis meeting with Kim Davis

Davis told ABC: “Just knowing that the pope is on track with what we’re doing and agreeing, you know, it kind of validates everything.”

The Vatican statement made clear the pope expressed no such sentiments

time for some backtracking from kimmy's camp

I'm getting sick of hearing about Kim Davis. I'd bet the number of American's who see her and her atty clogging up the courts with their endless court filings, day after day with are starting to grow tired of seeing her crocodile tears. She is going to over play her hand.

Has anyone heard what the polling of the German people looks like on the issue? What do the German People want? When a tide swell of a country's citizens are in favor of marriage equality, then it's a matter of time. The politicians can only hold back the tide of a citizenry in favor of marriage equality so long. The Bundestag may quash it for now...but it's a great sign that the Bundsrat is in favor...as are the Social Democrats.
