Video Game News & Reviews - Kombo.com : BlackFoot Studios Announces HALO Insertion Game for 360 and PS3

"Some aspect of declining sales could surely be attributed to people owning all of the damn plastic instruments already, and perhaps not willing to buy a full-priced retail version of a game when they can pick and choose from over 500 songs online." - And this is exactly why those statistical numbers are showing less revenue. You can't match the sales numbers from a perspective where everyone already has bought the instruments." Why would the sales be the same if people do not have to repurchase the same products they already have? Well, then they are just buying the software. And from a software stand point, those numbers are very good. Good debate! This needs to be talked about. Numbers are just numbers without context.

I agree with you. As I stated in the story, "I do need to separate the differences between what camping is versus legitimate stealth play. When I talk about playing stealthily, I'm referring to a proper form of play style that requires precision and skill. Posting up in a snipe position and quickly scattering about the map to stay undetected is very different than camp mode. It requires experience and knowledge of the maps at hand." Twitter: T_DaSilva

I don't like having to use perks just and solely to find campers. And sometimes even when I see them on the kill cam if I seek them out again they are waiting for me in a different section of the room and shoot me up as soon as I enter the entrance. I can camp too, but I'm playing a "video game." Not a real life war zone. I don't "really die" when shot and would rather have my action playing style back rather then camp and wait for unsuspecting players to walk by. Where did the action go? I can hide in a closet in real life and scare people too. It's just not fun. Or maybe it's my Gears of War multiplayer mentallity... This wasn't much of a problem there.

Well said. I agree that this takes its form in many different ways. I dove into this topic though because I felt it hit a nerve in a very real way. The history of racism in our country is too deep for people to use such hateful words so casually.

Anyone think 2 different servers would work? Like an age gap that allows adults to play with only adults (18 and up) separated from the younger audience?

I just finished the story mode last night and was thinking of picking up the DLC this week before jumping into Dragon Age. Sounds like a great extension of the story with change ups that keep it fresh - Nice!

Video Game News & Reviews - Kombo.com : Tony Hawk: RIDE

Thanks Sascha - I think the sales numbers are a direct reflection of the critics though. But and this is a big BUT, I'm sure it has to also do with the price tag. I can't help but think this game became almost trendy to hate. I'm not an advocate and a 7 isn't really a quality score nowadays, but I just don't think it's THAT bad...

I'm basing it of my experience with the game from home. I talk about the problems the game does have, but overall I have fun going to back to it for a change up in my gaming experience. This is not real skateboarding and I reviewed it according to that mind set. But I appreciate your feedback.

Sascha - I completely agree with your review of it. And Razien, Dead Space got to me for some reason. I played it on a harder difficulty and always felt on my toes. I guess to each his own... Something about feeling confined in an environment with creatures in the walls that brought me back to the ALIEN movies.

I can completely see your point here. I can understand how the limitations can add to the overwhelming experience, but what I found was a lot of fustration. I think if I was given just a bit more movement control I would have had a better experience. I guess I'm being so hard on the series because I have love for it and don't want it to get left behind. Tough love so to speak.
