I feel so sorry for Boris. Now the intellectual political elite of the Tory Party their supporters and Commentators are gunning for him. I now firmly believe as my previous posts have suggested, that we now now need to deconstruct the Tory Party, bring it back to the core routes of the Thatcher era, move it firmly to the right and rid it of its Middle England, Tory shires Image. Stop being sensitive, stop the nostalgic nonsense of "we shot Jerry down over the Channel by Jingo" attitude, the goody twoshoes of common decency attitude, the backer of the downtrodden underdog. What an utter load of nostalgic tosh.
"offence is the best form of defence". Look at Farage, he just says it as it is,; goes for the jugular... No one complains when he verbally insults most of Europe. What it does is galvanise the largely Tory voting working class man, who reads the Sun and are actually the people we as Tories need to attract, not the jolly dee middle Englander who believe that the underdog is king and were the type who championed "Eddie the Eagle".
Remember the Standard life advert "does anyone remember the second group to conquer Everest? "... Of course we don't..... Tory squires... "get busy living or get busy dying". Your choice
Where are the protests, where are the marches on Whitehall, why are we not defending our democracy in mass protest. Opposition parties do it.... But no we decent middle England Tories are above all of that. I remember in my sojourn with a Scottish Regiment, the Squaddie's clarion call, "fixed bayonets".. was like a tonic to them.... The eyes would flash, the blood would run to their head and man were they wired. Peaceful protest of course, but let us go forth with pen and paper.

Because "my", "our" party cant get Brexit through parliament.. Many voters will now see Farage as the only hopeful in this sorry tale... Talk to old school Tories and this seems to be the way they are thinking. How can a party that goes from Grieve, Major, Letwin to Soubry right through to Francois ever be united. If the constituencies don't unseat the Tory "one nation" sitting MPs, how could you ever expect countless Tories to vote Tory... Tell me... How? With the appaling Grieve etc sitting as Quasi liberals with their pathetic ideals in Tory heartlands that guarantee them lifelong MP status, MPs leaving for the Lib Dems, Farage galvanising both Tory and Conservative Brexit... Wallsallbob.. What future for the Tories. Get rid of the odious dissenters and we will have a conversation

Time for the Tories to split and form a new super party with Farage. It is clear that many Tories, past and present, still yearn for remain and it is clear this is now at odds with the mood of most Tories.

The Tories are dead and buried after this.

Boris has failed on his mission with Brexit; albeit not his fault and someone has to take the bullet. For many people in the party, a Corbyn led government might be the answer to this intractable problem, but more importantly it will destroy this country, split the Tories and we shall have night of the King knives;a putsch. This maybe a way of ridding the party of some of its more nefarious characters. This is not ideal, nor palatable, but maybe with Corbyn you might get Brexit and extinguishing the cancer that has become one nation Toryism.
Sadly, for the time being, Democracy has died largely with the help of disaffected Tories both on the right and left of the party and paramount concern must be given to restoring a Thatcherite agenda. If we do vote for Farage it will split the Tories and and unseat many of the now perfidious members of Parliament. Do we have several choices. Meanwhile, for me, sadly like most middle Englanders like me, I will be all right Jack.

Vacuous man... With nothing to commend him.... What an awful legacy he leaves... Stick to the boogie boards at Daymer Bay and building sand castles in Polzeath...
