If you don't like the terms of the agreement then you don't have to enter into it, or can terminate the agreement. A "slave" is someone who doesn't have the ability to terminate the relationship; who isn't a party to a voluntary exchange; who isn't entitled to dispose of the product of his labor as he sees fit. Sounds more like the relationship between the individual and the State. I cannot enter into a transaction without the State unilaterally stepping in. The State, like Massa of old, decides how much of the fruits of my labor I get to keep. If you don't think Massa will use the whip on you just try to escape from this slavish relationship of coercion.
