Please check your source. According to the CIA, Iran's GDP is $331.8 billion, according to the World Bank its $385.1 billion, and according to the IMF its $335.2 billion. North Carolina, meanwhile, at least according to North Carolina, has a "GDP" of a little over $400 billion. Iran isnt even 1/50th of the US economy. California alone is eight times as big as Iran. Texas about the same. Their whole economy is much less than a third of what we spent in Iraq and Afghanistan. Less than half of one years stimulus bill spending. Less than one years defense spending. They pose no threat to us.

The root cause of radicalism anywhere is injustice. The use of violence anywhere is a result of injustice. Its a false choice between the end of Israel and its present unjust policies. Iran is a small poor country with a percapita gdp of what Israels was at the start of the GWOT.

Islamofascism is just a nonsense word coined to scare you into believing that islam poses a threat to you equal to that formerly posed by the Nazis. We have been fighting "terror" or "islam" or "islamofascism" longer and for far more money than we spent beating Hitler. The present threat is tiny, but nobody dates to say that. Consider that Irans economy is smaller than that of North Carolina. Would you be afeered of North Carolina if they were planning a nuke? Would you even consider it possible? Wake up and free yourselves from the chains of bigotry. Islam is revealed Christianity, just as Christianity is revealed Judaism. Its just a religion. A religion with a great deal in common with our Judeo Christian traditions. Not a threat. Islam certainly has nothing to do with corporatist socialism which is the hallmark of fascism.

Apartheid is a good and fair description of the israeli policy toward the palestinians-"apart-ness". As to a distinct Palestinian type of Arab: there is a Palestinian dialect of Arabic which was spoken throughout what is now Israel, and there are cultural differences between the Palestinians and other Shams people, notably different foods, and different surnames. There isnt merely one type of Palestinian however: there are differences in religion (many Palestinians are orthodox Christians), and differences in education and incomes. If you think Palestinians are just like other Arabs (whatever that means) just ask an Arab if they are Palestinian. As to the historic landownership: most of the land acquired by zionists prior to Balfour was bought for cash from landowners living in what is now Lebanon. Most of the land acquired after independence was taken by force from the locals ie Palestinians. And unlike Jews, Palestinians have no right of return. Apartheid was in fact kinder to the Africans than Israel is to the Palestinians.

Dubai Police stated that IN AUGUST 2009 they believed that two of the passports later used in the Mabhouh operation had been used to enter and exit Dubai, and that the exit appeared to be by boat. The boat was on record as heading for Iran--which could mean anything including a leisurely passage up the Red Sea to Aqaba. Iran wasnt an out for the assassination team in January 2010. 2. There is nothing keystone cops about this operation. 26 plus people and in country support staff, in and out of a hostile country with no snags. A successful mission accomplished-target eliminated and team extracted. Only eight countries in the world could have pulled that off, and none of them is Arabic.
