I completely understand the reasoning behind making rules. But I think a lot of rules are made up out of convenience - meaning we'd rather not have to deal with questions than use the "potential" for issues as teaching moments. Rules make us feel better. They help us to hide behind a curtain and continue to believe everything's ok - even when it's not. That's immaturity. Maturity realizes there will be issues and decisions made regardless of whether or not there's rules in place. Maturity looks for teachable moments. My .02 cents. Have a great day.
