Thank you @ Stewie! I can understand you so well. I'll have to work with a detour into the settings and wait, whether doing something soon.

I hope you do not mean me you underage child! Do you remember your own words?: "That tweak is a piece of trash, it shows the mobistar logo instead of tmobile. Back to makeitmine." You complain about the tweak and gives off such a ridiculous comment to me. I know the jailbreak with blackra1n has not the problem with the carrier logo. All right?! The problem also exists for pwnage created ipsw's including the bb update. So it definitely seems to be a problem with pwnage tool. Next time you can be friendly. Or have your parent taught you no decency? Best regardsTobito77

Hi yOy0dEv! The real problem is known to me. But the carrier logo fixer tweak is just another stopgap like makeitmine and editing the carrier_bundle list. For roaming it does not help, only for the own operator (like t-mobile for me). If I left the country the carrier logo of the roaming partner is also not shown on the display. The Community needs a real solution and not only embellishments for this problem.

Hi Stewie! I use my device with T-Mobile (the unlock is not very important for me). To give an answer to your question/or a counter-question: Would you drive a tuned car, which works only 90 percent? ;-) Okay, that was a bad example. But when roaming, I think it's important that the carrier-logo works.

Hello DevTeam! Are you still work on pwnage 3.1.5? The bug with the missing carrier-logo is really annoying. MakeItMine and editing the carrier_bundle lists is just temporarily useful. Especially disturbing is when someone is often dependent on roaming and do not know which network you are. I will no longer use pwnage until the error is corrected. Redsn0w 0.8 you also have wanted to adapt for the 3.0.1 ipsw and you have not done it. I admire your work! But you first take care of the bug's of the current versions and does not work again on new projects. Thank you and best regards Tobito77

Hello DevTeam! You already work on a solution to the problem with the network/carrier operator logo which is not displayed after a 3.1 or 3.1.2 jailbreak? Will there soon be a way that this problem belongs to the past?

Hi! Try to restore the CFW with iTunes 8.2 on a win PC. Download iREB from the ih8sn0w website and start it. Connect your iPhone to PC with iTunes turned off and put it in DFU mode. Press the button "iPhone 3G" in iREB. iREB finds your 3G and the display of your iPhone goes white and iREP hangs up (thats normal). Start iTunes and go on the device. Hold shift and press the "recover" button and select your CFW. Let iTunes recover your device with the CFW. Done! So it worked for me. I had the same problems.

Hi @ all! I have a problem with pwnage tool 3.1.4: The pwnage tool does not find the original .ipsw FW file for my iPhone 3G. It seeks and seeks the file but can not find them. When I press the button "select the ipsw file manual" it suggests nothing. The other buttons stop responding to when pwnage will search for the ipsw. Only the "log" button works. It seems as pwnage would have hanged up. I use it on a MacBook Pro with latest Snow Leopard. The .ipsw appears to be intact (downloaded with firefox, not with safari). I saved the file to 5 places on my HDD (user folder, iTunes Library etc. etc.). Someone else has this problem? Thank you for any help!

BenM.at - Österreichs iPhone & iPod touch Blog : HowTo: Jailbreak mit Pwnage Tool 3.1.4

Hi @ all!

You can jailbreak the iPhone 3.1.2 by using blackra1n (available for Mac and Win). But only jailbreak!!! Unlock is not yet available!

Hi @ all! It's been quiet lately at redsn0w. Will there be a new version in future for OS 3.1? I would be glad if you do not let fall redsn0w. Too bad you did not even updated redsn0w 0.8, so you must still use the the 3.0 IPSW for the 3.0.1 jailbreak.
