Personally I love almost everything with the entire EqG series. However, I would have liked it if the series was considered canon, but just not mentioned in the main show. As it is now, we have this amazing and unique story, and yet the writer is saying that none events actually happen. It's just something that bugs me, even though it has no impact on anything whatsoever. Also, 100% in favor of a spin-off and/or more movies!

Well, those are all big production videos. Animation has a large part in them, but it isn't the only thing that goes into those things. But if you want to talk about animation itself in the fandom. I'd say their aren't enough of us, more now than before. And it shows here on EQD. Some of the animations that are given a personal feature can be truly insulting to experienced animators, as they only resemble a fraction of quality that should be expected for art. Think of it as uploading a horrible stick figure drawing of a pony, and giving it it's own DrawfriendStuff posting without 50 other images sharing it's spotlight.

As someone who has been in the Flash animator side of the fandom for a few years, I can say our department certainly seems like it is shrinking. Only a few content creators are left that can actually hit show quality animation levels, but they usually trend to focus more on little things than making videos. Brony projects also seem to have a bleak outlook. I don't think we are going to see another Double Rainboom project in terms of scale. I've been on a few and most people in charge lose motivation or lack the knowledge to make their vision a reality. And I continue to see more and more pop up in the fandom, knowing the same thing is going to happen to them. I'm not a real expert on the music side, but they seem to be the least commented posts on EqD too.
