Thanks much!! In good news: We're not QUITE done yet: We've still got two pages to go for Volume One (kind of a "runner" tease to our next arc)-- speaking of which: We are committed to continuing on with the Spy6teen saga. We just need to take some time to retool our work format, and tweek some stuff in terms of presentation. I'll have more on this in the upcoming writeups! In the meantime, thanks to you for reading!!

Thanks, Amy! And...ohhhhh-- the sleepless nights have begun! Can't even fathom 16 years from now...actually, can't even fathom 16 hours from now! (but that's probably the lack of sleep talking!)

Yeah, I'll cop to that...Although, Lisa's colors for this next page just landed in the dropbox, so a new page next week is all but guaranteed. At this point, the best I can offer is: We'll get through this volume. It might be a bit haphazard in terms of release dates, but we'll get it there.

Funny enough, I'm back in whack (I don't think I've ever said that!)-- and Dj is currently cranking away on some awesome pages-- but now Lisa is upheaving and moving-- which is causing a slight delay in our return-- Hey, having just moved myself, I could only nod sympathetically when she emailed that to us! Shouldn't be TOO much longer though-- plus, we're using the time to build up a decent backlog to avoid any future delays!

Yup! Sending out a team email this weekend to get us all back on track. Sorry, speaking for myself, it's been kind of a turbulent few weeks; one that's really throw my schedule out of whack. I've got the sneaky suspicion that the same is going on with the rest of the team as well. At the very least I'll have an update blog for you guys next week-- and then, of course, it's San Diego Comic Con time, which is going to screw up our scheduling again... We'll be back in the groove again very soon-- really sorry for the delay, but also so happy you guys are sticking by us!!

Nope, you didn't miss an announcement! We've just been dealing with some scheduling problems-- The big thing is that, behind-the-scenes, we've been all hashing out some ideas in terms of scheduling to make sure Vol 2 runs smoothly-- It's unfortunate, but as we're rolling into the last handful of pages on Vol.1, a lot of the "mistakes" we made (in terms of production) are coming to a head. The plus side is, we've learned a LOT over the last 80 some odd pages, and we're setting up a plan of action to make sure we can keep bringing you guys awesome Cally adventures for a LONG time to come! Sorry for the delay though-- I promise it's all for good reasons!

I know, it's something that I've been thinking about for the next arc-- Maybe releasing PDF/CBZ "recaps" at 8 pages a pop. Heck, there are times I forget where we are!

Yeah, there was some compression in the story beat structure there-- mostly because I didn't want to lose too much momentum between the Don/Sears fight and into the monster battle-- This is another one of those "translation" issues between print and digital-- since we're on Page 17, which will be a "page turn", I think the "move" into this beat will be smoother in physical form-- Since, in comic book page turns, you presume that time has passed-- but yeah, I can totally see what you're saying here...Just goes to prove that print and digital, while seeming similar, do have a number of micro-differences that can add up!

Yeah, as I mentioned above, we might pull the dialogue and go back to the page's silent origins when it's time to collect the first arc into a trade paperback-- I'll have to see how it plays/feels in a physical copy. That's one of the things about this weekly/web format: we sometimes have a little too much time to overthink a page.

Yeah, I get ya...we might pull it for the eventual printed collection. I think it might play differently when someone is reading through these pages in a book-- the experience of which I'm sure will be different than our current "page (load) page (load)" webcomic setup. Thanks for the feedback though! I'll keep a keen eye on this particular beat when we gather everything up for the trade!
