As in all things, it's the extremes that can make it bad.
When you're getting screamed at for liking something that someone didn't, even when your supposed to be liking the same thing, it gets tiring.

Really, biggest example I can think of that I was present personally was the Hell that was the hiatus between Seasons 3 and 4. It was just such an awful time to be a fan with the constant drama when all I wanted was to just talk about all the things we all liked instead entering a hot zone of negative emotion towards things that occurred. Thank God it cooled off by the start of Season 4, but it was just a horrible time to count myself as a fan.

And then there were those who still didn't let up long after it all became a moot point.
I largely consider myself a "casual fan". I enjoy my series. Sure I might go further than most in collecting fan art, joining in online discussions, and dabbling in fan fiction, but ultimately I'm just watching it because I enjoy it. If a substandard episode airs I don't rage about it continually long after everyone's moved on. I just go "Well, next week will be better" and move onto another thing I enjoy.

Maybe I just lack the passion that some share, but every time I've found myself burnt out from dealing with the fans, I just watch the series itself and I'm reminded of just why I liked it in the first place. I did kind of think that the only thing worse than having no one to discuss things with is actually having them, but once again, in all things, it's those on the extreme. And unfortunately, the internet is the megaphone for the extreme.

Sorry for the rant, but these are things that have largely been on my mind since the Hell that was the 2013 hiatus.

I always saw them as:
Red - Dash
Orange - Spike
Yellow - Twilight
Green - AJ
Blue - Pinkie
Indigo - Fluttershy
Violet - Rarity

With Gilda joining Dash as a deputy Red, Trixie as a deputy Orange, Luna deputy Yellow, Shining deputy Green, CMC deputy Blues, and the Doctor as a deputy Indigo. And while everypony thinks Cadance would be the deputy Star Sapphire (Violet), that ring instead goes to Chrysalis.

And Sombra would be a combination of Necron, Black Hand, and Scar.

Pretty damn good.
Bachelor Party for my cousin's fiance, so that was fun.

I've come to love winter and fall now. I prefer the cold and summer is just too damn hot.
I like fall more as it's cooler and the scenery is still nice.

It's why I have no love of summer anymore. Before I had the attitude shift of "Yeah! 3 months of nothing!". Now since the season doesn't change what I'm doing, I found the negatives of the season to my own preferences overwhelming any positives.

When you have a job and do the same thing day in and day out regardless of season, you begin to envy the little bastards.

If you comment on Youtube period and then look back you're going to regret a fair few of them.

In the words of Meat Loaf "Two out three ain't bad" ("Unique" and "Intelligent" could be used to describe me, but not "Feisty").

It's a "Yes" and "No" as "Mary Sue" has largely come to mean "Character I don't like".
