Dylan Ratigan : From the Vault: Yves Smith on How Banks Extract from the Economy

Extractionism is a new term but it is the SAME concept of "Plunder" in Bastiat's THE LAW. Corporatism's power stems from a perverse legal system that takes from some and gives to others. Corporatism was first identified and the cure spelled out in the 19th century. http://bleedingheartlibertarians.com/2011/12/ron-...

Commentary Magazine : No Need for the RJC to Invite Paul to Forum

At the core Ron Paul wants a free and prosperous Israel as much as anyone else. At the core Ron Paul wants peace in the middle east and here for the US. The author and his sympathizers wish to twist a disagreement in policy of how to get Israel to the core goal mentioned into pretending Paul doesn’t want Israel to exist at all and that he is an anti-semite racist. What kind of anti semite has a picture of framed (Austrian Jew) Ludwig von Mises hanging on the wall of his Congressional office? What kind of anti-semite cites the late Murray N. Rothbard (Jew from New York) as a friend and mentor? Labeling someone a racist for their policies is a dirty attempt to control the dialogue. This goal of the RJC is clear. There is no easier way to control the dialogue than to not have it in the first place.

Big Peace : Good News From Iowa

These "writers" are either ignorant or liars. Ron Paul wants to maintain position as most powerful military on earth. There is no reason our current military budget should exceed that at the height of the Cold War when we faced a more dangerous and powerful threat in the Soviet Union.

Michelle backed the patriot act with ZERO debate... yea that's Constitutional for you. What a joke. You probably can't even half-way articulate any of Paul's positions and just guzzle whatever Rush Limbaugh and the establishment NEO-CON branch of the media feeds you.

Right...Paul "games" the system by getting his supporters to vote for him more than the other candidates... Wait... isn't that how all polls are supposed to work? FACT to your Fiction: Paul polls in double digits in recent Gallup and Rasmussen Polls... in fact in Gallup poll this month Paul is in third ahead of Bachman.

Yea Perry.. it's REAL conservative to take land from a million Texans for a Nafta Super highway and force children to get vaccinated. You are a joke carrying the water for the establishment.

Yes, $900 BILLION a year is not enough... Let's do TRILLIONS....Let's spend 50% of our GDP on the military... Why not??? Also, perhaps the author, pretending to know something on foreign policy, might look up the difference between isolationism and non-intervention policies.

Big Peace : Ron Paul: The GOP’s Henry Wallace

Heaven forbid America as nation employ a little old fashioned conservative responsibility and inspect our actions to see if we have made mistakes.... That would be so UN-conservative wouldn't it... the entire personal responsibility thing... By the same rational of the author, any attempt to say American fiscal policy mistakes have led to more poor means anyone making such claims is blaming America first. All of you attacking Obama for creating more mess in the economy need to stop your "blame America first" bit and fall right in line for the good of the country!

Nice that you used Vietnam in our post. Vietnam is a SOLID case for Ron Paul’s foreign policy. We tried to "spread freedom and democracy" in Vietnam at the cost of 50,000 US lives and 1,000,000... that’s ONE MILLION Vietnamese lives. In the end, when we LEFT and the BOMBS STOPPED did peace eventually bring democracy to ALL of Vietnam. Ron Paul believes in JUST WAR theory that is a WAR in defense of attack/aggression.... Paul DID support going into Afghanistan.

Logic evades you my friend. Let's stick to FACTS shall we: 1) no Muslim nation would EVER nuke Israel unless they want to kill millions of Muslim Palestinians AND destroy Islam's most holy sites. 2)ALL of the watchdog groups say Iran is NOT progressing on building a Nuke 3) Iran has not invaded a nation in over 100 years. Try saying that for the UK, US, or Israel for that matter. 4) Iran can't even afford the upkeep on its ragtag mostly obsolete in the 21st century army 5) None of the 911 terrorists were form Iran, they were Saudi 6) None of the funding for 911 could be traced to Iran... but much of it was traced to Saudi Arabia.

We give about $3 BILLION per year to Israel and we give about $12 BILLION per year to the enemies of Israel. Also, if the hardliners in Egypt get control of that government, you will have the FIST anti-ISRAEL government with a military ACTUALLY CAPABLE of harming Israel thanks to the American Abrams Tanks and F-16 planes we sold/gave their former US backed Dictator... a PERFECT EXAMAPLE of why Ron is right and our foreign policy often backfires on good intentions with bad results. I’d say with friends like that Israel is better of without us.

Shows how little you know of Paul... Dr. Paul does NOT participate in the overly generous congressional pension plan... How many other "kooks" and "blame America" people do this? Also, if you are wrong about this assumption, what else regarding Paul might you be wrong about?

There are FAR more examples of Ron Paul being right on foreign policy than him being wrong. If you are willing to look at FACTS and not emotional rhetoric, Paul's policies are the most reasonable, and I will take ANYONE to town in such a debate. For example, to say Paul is an isolationist is to show you have ALREADY lost the debate because you don't even understand the difference between isolationism (which PAUL IS NOT) and non-interventionist (Which PAUL IS) policies.
