If he didn't hit her, who did? Hit and runs are bad enough, but to hit a child and take off??

I agree! I haven't gone to the movies in years because I can't afford it. I did, however, save up a little to take my kids to see Brave. It cost nearly $40 bucks, but it is a really good, and cute, movie. I don't regret it, although I balked at the cost.

My 8 y/o nearly drowned twice when she was younger (2 -3). The first time, I was camping with my family, and was trying to take a nap because I was sick. I heard "get her!"...she had either jumped, or fallen into the river. My brother in law got her out... the next year, we were camping at a KOA, and I had taken her, and her sister swimming. She was playing on the steps, and I was close, but not close enough, and she stepped off the bottom step, it probably took seconds to get to her, but it seemed to take forever. Thankfully, she didn't swallow any water, but I'll never forget the panicI felt trying to get to her...the water seemed to hold me back.
I agree with Queenofdiamonds. Let's not point fingers, this family is going to live with this nightmare for years.

Really? So someone who was 17, had sex with his girlfriend, deserves to have been killed? Why do people assume EVERYONE on the SO registry deserves to be there?

You totally misunderstood me. In my statement, I was quoting OMG4ril and asked him/her a question. It sounded to me that they thought the children should stay with the parents because they weren't actually "convicted" of anything. I think that's complete BS. There is plenty of evidence that the children should NOT be in that environment, and letting them stay in that type of environment just because the parents weren't "convicted" is not in the best interest of the child.

And exactly how did you determine that?

How is this CPS's fault....? Put the blame where it belongs - on the mother who violated her terms.

Since "Being charged and investigated on allegations is not proof positive of anything except character assassination" we should let the kids stay with them until we know for sure if they're innocent or guilty?

CPS most definately does make many mistakes, but if, like MomOf2 said, they didn't do anything, and something happened to those kids, people would be "calling for their heads."

If these were my children, I would not let them around someone who was only "charged" with molestation and abuse. If they were found innocent, and truly were innocent, then I would relax. But I'm not willing to take the chance of putting my children into a potentionally dangerous situation. Which is what these three children's mother did.

If the seat is up when I use the bathroom, I put it down. Simple as that. :P I'm not expected to put the seat back up when I'm done, so why should I expect them to put the seat down for me?

Wow! That's horrible. She was completely out of control.
