I don't think that a Native who is registered with a federally recognized tribe could be President, as a US president can not be subject to, or loyal to another flag. Indians who are enrolled are members of a "sovereign" nation. Like Mexico, Canada.. what ever. The reason the reservations are so "bad" is that they are wards of the federal government. When I was a Police Officer on a Reservation in SW Colorado, it a Joke. One of the Richest Tribes in the USA (10+ Billion) in oil, gas income in the Growth Fund each member gets over 50k in " per cap" and it is still a disgusting 3rd world country. You know how to improve the Reservation, get off the government dole, Go to college (free in most cases) move from Ignacio Colorado, crown Point AZ. get a job. Don't be a Drunk, Don't Smoke Meth. Stop blaming white people, black people or anyone else for your issues. DON'T DEPEND ON ANYONE FOR ANYTHING... GROW UP. Our Military is skilled, the best in the world. BUT... we have a hard time handling insurgents in Iraq (a small country) and Afghanistan (a population less than Cali) do you really think that "they" could win here against 30 million pissed off rednecks, cowboys, Patriots, Bikers, Sara Palins, Moms and Dads ... ummm no. The more I think about it, I think a two state solution is the answer.....Not in the middle east, but here. If 1/2 the Country thinks Obama walks on water, and the rest of us have a brain in our head. Well.. what do you think. I don't really like to tell how many and how much of what I have to anyone.. well except my wife and mother. I really wish I could play nice and pretend that talking and marching and educating people, and I hope that all works. If it did it will be from the Lord. However .... well whatever, bring it. I do agree there are people who wouldn't know what to do if they got in the mess they are talking about. I don't want it, God I pray we don't see it. At least I have the skills to do it.
