you don't need a passport yet. thats the whole point of the lie. he just needs a normal everyday ID/drivers license like you always need to fly. in oct 2018 the law goes into effect that you need the enhanced ID from your state or a passport to fly domestic which if not rolled back would be going on right now. he i assume didn't know it was rolled back to oct next year so he tried to use it as the reason he decided to skip the event.
he may be attempting to use the excuse of real id which is a new program from the bush administration that was going to take effect this year where you either needed an enhanced state id which several states already rolled out while others start in 2018 or a passport to board a domestic flight in the US. unfortunately for him his excuse falls apart when you take into account due to multiple states not being ready yet the entire program was put on hold until oct 2018. on top of all that even with the unpaid parking tickets the only way that would prevent him from getting on a plane would be a warrant out for his arrest in which the airport would have had him arrested as soon as he checked in because thats one of police forces favorite place to get people with warrants since it requires a scanning of the id confirming the persons identity and location

i really miss being able to do my old system with wwe stocks of buying 500 shares in july/aug for about $15 a share and selling it around march for $20-23 right before wrestlmania when it would peak near $25 and people were trying to buy it on the upswing a few months before it went back down to normal. it was an easy $3500ish profit i made yearly for vacations but ever since the network came out it just hovers around 21-23 year round.
and nothing of value was lost
