Well I am trying to be civil and debate, unlike you my fellow Malaysian. Perhaps you can think through and squeeze out a worthy argument?

Another racist. even though you try to say otherwise, the intention behind your last sentence is clearly racially motivated. Funny to see you actually trying to defend what is pretty obvious to all :)

Irrespective of what the constitution say or what you think it says, it is the duty of all Muslims to practice and advocate for the Islamic way of life. This will just get stronger in coming years hence the key now is coming to a fair balance in a Muslim majority but multi religious country such as us. Don't get me wrong, I am totally disgusted by racial or religious extremism. But when it comes to Islam, we Muslims expect the state to do its part. As a matter of fact, it is not only an expectation by Muslims, it is asked for by God.

Live and let be.. Islam is not simply a religion, it is a way of life. Please get this into your heads and you will start to understand why islam is more encompassing compared to other religions, it is really complete and covers all facet of life.

Conversion is called for in Islam if you want to marry a Muslim. Some countries choose not to enforce this but as a Muslim leader I don't think this is wise as you are not advocating an Islamic way of life within the Muslim community. Ask PAS or UMNO and you'll get the same answer my friends.

The point is if a non Muslim doesnt want to be a Muslim, that is fine as there is no compulsion for you to do so. stem your relationship with a Muslim early onto avoid it progressing on.

Fully agree with the article. Free water is indeed populism gone mad, and can only be perpetuated by an irresponsible party who thinks short term instead of long term to the detriment of society!

Many would simply disagree with Riduan based on primal emotional instincts. But if one were to really think objectively, his proposal of a single education system is indeed the way to go for Malaysia. Those who think otherwise are just hypocritical and 'cuba menegakkan benang yang basah'

A reasonable proposition though a pretty superficial one in my view. The national unit blueprint should include and must put forth a proposal on single education stream and the discouragement of different school systems, this is a far bigger and important item to tackle. To exclude it would put credibility of such a blueprint in question. Race on a form is peanuts compared to this more important issue.

That's the right way to go. We need to move away from price distortions that encourages non efficiency.
