I actually tried to order black ones as knock offs from china. But they are sold out in my size everywhere. I ordered orange ones from China that are knock offs. I am getting the black ones from Barneys. They are sold out online, but I found a store that had one pair left. Thankfully they are matte instead of the shiny shade that the knocks offs are.

Just have to find time to cross the border once they arrive to pick them up.

Yeah, I knew that yet the Canadian sephora site had it listed and titled as the 3 step runway kit until the other day. Wasnt sure why they were calling this set that as well. But they have since adjusted the name so it was a just an error on the sephora site!

That is really bizzare because both this quoted email and the discussion I had said the HELMER series would be discontinued. They did say they were replacing it with a new line. My feeling is that the suppliers stopped producing it and they are finding another supplier to make a similar one. Though that is simply what I am assuming happened based on wording and phrasing used.

But for those who organize their polish to the extent of helmers, melmers, alexes and the like are usually (at least the ones i know and talk to) anal about everything matching. If they updated the alex that in ANY WAY made it look different I would have to replace them all as I need my things to match.

But everyone I have talked to as of now the new replacement item will not be called a HELMER and would be a similar yet different series. That was when DIRECTLY asked if they would come back as HELMERS or not. Again, this is simply the information I have been given.

I guess however, time will tell.

As per the quoted email here and talking to IKEA they are discontinuing the series. They are working on a replacement series that will be similar. But the HELMER series itself is being discontinued. As per how similar the new series will be is yet to be known, though I assume it will be fairly similar. Lets be honest, its a file cabinet. But time will tell how close to the HELMER it will be.

the pigment on that one is fantastic! Not that the others dont, but that one more than the others looks more like a liquid liner in my opinion!

My issue is not with the shipping. That is beyond their control. What they put in the boxes however IS in their control.

I cant say they are the best makeup products out there, but so far everything I have tried is good. I would put the range in a quality level above drugstore brands such as Maybeliline, Loreal, Cover GIrl and the like. My biggest issue is that for me, in general, the shades are not ideal. The quality is great, but I find the shade range just........ less than ideal.

All I can say with confidence are that the duos from the brand are the best eyeshadows I have ever used. Temptalia has done many reviews on the duos. I think they are one of her favourites also.
