<title>The Professional Family Manager : The Write Stuff…for Bloggers</title>
<link>http://professionalfamilymanager.com/2010/10/write-stufffor-bloggers/#IDComment104677358</link>
<description>I agree. I don&amp;#039;t read giveaways and product reviews and &amp;quot;follow me&amp;quot; posts. I don&amp;#039;t mind seeing it occasionally, if the site is otherwise worth reading. But do it often enough, and I&amp;#039;m out of there. <title>The Professional Family Manager : Making a Distinction Between Writing and Blogging</title>
<link>http://professionalfamilymanager.com/2010/10/making-distinction-between-writing-blogging/#IDComment104032352</link>
<description>I tried the social media thing. It&amp;#039;s a huge time suck. I suppose, if you&amp;#039;re really good at it, it can help publicize your blog. But being a loner type to begin with, I never quite got the hang of it. <title>The Professional Family Manager : Will Bloggy Boot Camp Whip Me Into Shape or Boot Me Out of the Blogsphere?</title>
<link>http://professionalfamilymanager.com/2010/09/will-bloggy-boot-camp-whip-me-into-shape-or-boot-me-out-of-blogsphere/#IDComment98007243</link>
<description>I think there is some reason to blog. It helps hone your writing skills; it gives you a chance to try different styles and see what flies. It teaches you to write on demand and for deadlines. If you treat it as a personality contest, though, it&amp;#039;s a total waste of time. <title>The Professional Family Manager : Why I&#039;m Going to Need a Drink When We Buy Our Next Vehicle</title>
<link>http://professionalfamilymanager.com/2010/08/why-im-going-be-completely-drunk-when-i-buy-next-vehicle/#IDComment96148727</link>
<description>Our cars got bigger and bigger as we collected more family. Eventually, I was driving the equivalent of a houseboat. Now driving son drives houseboat. I have a sedan. Some things are worth getting older for. <link>http://professionalfamilymanager.com/2010/08/does-your-house-need-diet/#IDComment94818753</link>
<description>I always balance the clutter in my house with the amount of sustained effort required to remove said clutter, and all the things I&amp;#039;d rather do with that time than de-clutter. So it rarely gets done. There&amp;#039;s always something better to do. <title>The Professional Family Manager : Life is Like Going to the Grocery Store...</title>
<link>http://professionalfamilymanager.com/2010/08/life-like-going-grocery-store/#IDComment93488417</link>
<description>I am SO glad that, for me, life is not like a grocery store. I hate shopping. It&amp;#039;s one of those things I do only to survive, and because no one else will, and kicking and screaming the whole way. And I can easily forget things even with a list. Largely because I hate lists, too. <title>The Professional Family Manager : It’s Okay for Mothers to Dress Like Women and Not Like Their Kids</title>
<link>http://professionalfamilymanager.com/2010/08/its-okay-for-mothers-dress-like-women-not-like-their-kids/#IDComment93121127</link>
<description>I go through phases. Some phases I just don&amp;#039;t have the energy to get gussied up. Some phases I try to at least put on makeup so I don&amp;#039;t scare the neighbors. But I have NEVER carried a teddy bear diaper bag. Backpacks are great (and better for your back) --especially the pretty ones meant for corporate types. I, too, had a Land&amp;#039;s End diaper bag for a long time. Thing is still alive and kicking and now works as a computer bag when I have to take a lot of junk. <title>The Professional Family Manager : Frugal or Fanatical? Balancing Between Thrift and Insanity</title>
<link>http://professionalfamilymanager.com/2010/06/frugal-or-fanatical-balancing-between-thrift-insanity/#IDComment82805078</link>
<description>A few nights a week without the TV??? You are insane. Hubby would then go batty, end up in a mental institution unable to work, and that $3 I saved would end up putting us in the poor house. For the sake of the family, the neighborhood, and perhaps all of humanity, the TV stays. ON.
