I think there is some reason to blog. It helps hone your writing skills; it gives you a chance to try different styles and see what flies. It teaches you to write on demand and for deadlines. I go through phases. Some phases I just don't have the energy to get gussied up. Some phases I try to at least put on makeup so I don't scare the neighbors. But I have NEVER carried a teddy bear diaper bag. Backpacks are great (and better for your back) --especially the pretty ones meant for corporate types. A few nights a week without the TV??? You are insane. Hubby would then go batty, end up in a mental institution unable to work, and that $3 I saved would end up putting us in the poor house.
