I heard that Common is attached to play B.A. Baracus, and after his incredible job in Terminator Salvation I don't see why not.

Well however true that may be 99.9% of the "On Location" footage in that video is Vancouver, including the scene with Tom Waits. JSYK.

The longer that Superman stays close to a yellow sun the stronger and closer to omnipotence he becomes. This is brought to light in the Doomsday story line. This also speaks to his return to earth in Superman Returns weakened, barely able to stop the jet from crashing to earth. As far as Kryponite goes, well of course the movies were made by entirely different filmmakers almost a generation apart, there are bound to be some plot holes.

lols @ -81. I have been talking up Superman Returns for years, several times on this very site. Anyone with a decent knowledge of the comic book mythology and the Donner / Salkind films should be able to appreciate it.

I bet Superman, Batman outsell Green Lantern comic books 20-1. I think 'their best seller' is a wild assumption. If he was so popular you would have seen Green Lantern cross-marketed well before now.

Good for him, if it is true. I think there is potential for the first GIANT bomb in super-hero movies. It will happen, it is just a matter of time. The only way to guarantee that this film is successful is to cast Will Smith.

Watchmen made literary history, Batman and Superman have been cross-marketed for years. X-Men and The Fantastic Four helped kick off the success of the super-hero movie trend. But Green Lantern I think it will be a tough sell. The only way to present this film and for it to be successful is as an introduction to the Justice League of America. I am not saying that it doesn't have potential just that mainstream movie fans will need a lot of marketing to see this picture.
