Breitbart.com : Authorities: Tiger Woods seriously hurt in crash

Right... no alcohol... I'm sorry but how do you crash into a fire hydrant, then a tree, going under 33 MPH, get seriously injured despite the fact that you were driving slowly backing out of your driveway and were driving a freaking tank of a car... Alcohol had to be at play here.

Breitbart.com : \'Islam not responsible\' for Fort Hood massacre: US imam

I'm sorry but the onus is on the Islamic community to address this problem. They can't just say: "whoopsie, the fact that he was shouting praise Allah and gunning down 'infidels' obviously has nothing to do with Islam"... I'm sorry but that's just not going to cut it. There is a discernible pathology that is present in violent muslims such as Major Hasan, and it is the necessary task of these "good-faith and law abiding many" to not sit back and ignore a problem festering in their own community.

I'm sorry but you can't just ignore the connection to Islam here. The man was obviously sick, but the same can be said about any terrorist. This sort of problem will never be solved if the Islamic community doesn't face reality and see that there is a serious numo-pathology bubbling underneath the surface of some of it's members.

Sounds like a run of the mill case of "Do you know who I am?" Well sorry Mr. Bollywood Star, but no... we don't know who you are. Bollywood actors are a local phenomenon if that, and you shouldn't cry "profiling" just because some TSA grunt wasn't familiar with your "art".
People... what the hell? These were copies illegally sold. Their remote access to kindles is freaky, but you can't seriously see this as a form of censorship. Anyone and their mother can go and buy a hard copy of 1984 in any book store, rent it in any library, or even but it on Amazon. Stop blowing this up as some atrocious affront to freedom.

Elliott.... Do you even know what Fascism is? Can you even define it? Do you even know what the legitimate functions of the Government are as outlined by the Constitution? Can you wrap your little pea brain around the fact that the Patriot Act was enacted legally, and that above all else defense is the single most legitimate function of Government? The Government seizing one fifth of the economy by taking over health care is illegal. The founders expressly forbid Government from taking such a heavy handed role in private commerce because it's unrestrained influence could be used as a weapon against the interests of the American citizen. The unprecedented expansion of Government control, in banks, in auto companies, in insurance companies, and now into health care and energy... That IS FASCISM ( you spelled it wrong), not just some ambiguous claim that what democrats are doing "would have steered us towards fa[s]cism".

Breitbart.com : Obama: World \'appalled\' by Iran violence

That's such a juvenile statement. You should be ashamed and appalled at your own stupidity. Attacking Iran with nukes is not even a possibility. Cheney would never support it, and Gingrich who is obviously weaker on defense than Cheney would never even consider it. Both men know that a nuclear attack would be a spark that would trigger absolute insanity in the middle east. Would Pakistan start firing off Nukes? Would India? Would OPEC refuse to trade with us? Our goal, if we ever attacked Iran, wouldn't be mass death and mayhem, it would be a strategic attack with bunker busters to take out their nuclear program... or if the world is forced to set it's sights on regime change we would be forced into a "boots on the ground" scenario. What you have said is foolish, unhelpful, and asinine. You should apologize to America for injecting your stupidity into any discussion on any topic since you are so obviously a mental deficient who probably has difficulty tying his shoes.

Breitbart.com : Sarkozy says burqas are \'not welcome\' in France

The French should be proud to have this man as their President. It took real courage to come out and make a stand against this evil practice. President Sarkozy is absolutely right. This is not a religious symbol it is a vile tool used to debase and imprison women. In response to the huge lib who commented earlier, gb8898. You obviously have a very selective reading of the Bible. While it is true that there are going to be instances of misogyny you should remember that the New Testament was written written a little less than two thousand years ago, and the Torah, much earlier than that. That said if you actually read the New Testament, specifically Jesus' own words, you find that Jesus does not dabble in the degradation of women. In fact Jesus includes women on what some would say an unprecedented level, for the time. The very beginning of the book of Genesis mentions marriage and explains how it does not lead to two unequal bodies, but a joining of man and women who become one flesh. Jesus also battled against the religious fundamentalists of his time. He argued against the fundamentalists that divorcing ones wife was cruel and unacceptable. He advocated for monogamy. And when he rose from the dead he appeared first to women not to men. In terms of misogynistic tendencies of those later practicing Christianity. Well that's undeniable. As a matter of culture Christianity was cherry picked and misrepresented to provide moral justification for inexcusable behavior. But how is that any different from Islam. Almost every single country with a majority population of Muslims is run by a totalitarian government. Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Iran... all of these countries use religion as an excuse for committing heinous acts against their own people. The difference between Christianity and Islam... is that Christianity has largely overcome these abuses. Don't excuse certain practices of Muslims just because you have a chip on your shoulder because of Christianity. You say that "we should all remember that the Dark Ages was a time period of intense Christian religiosity"... well it's not the Dark Ages, and what a ridiculous argument. Every year more people are killed in the name of Islam than were killed in the Spanish Inquisition. The Dark Ages and the Middle Ages were times of superstition and ignorance. We now live in a time of Science where information is easily accessible, where resource rich countries like Saudi Arabia could easily prosper if they just cast off the shackles of their oppressive theocracy. What Christianity did during the Dark Ages, and what Islam is doing now... it's night and day. You cannot compare, you cannot equate, and you cannot excuse!
