Twilight's mother could simply be the writer of a single story in the Daring Do series, with A.K. having written the majority of the novels.

Yes it is. I'm not saying either of you are haters or whiners. I'm saying that there's a much more civil way to go about critiquing things without throwing around insults at eachother (and I refuse to use the internet as an excuse for that. We're all still human after all).

I don't have a valid opinion on the film myself, because I haven't seen it yet. But I still try to maintain objective: see both sides of any argument, not just one. It helps maintain an open mind in life.

I don't ever remember them saying that. Even if it's true, they've said numerous times that both are two separate entities, and if there's ever any "canon" influence over the actual show, it will probably in the form of a small reference, nothing more (E.G. Lyra mentioning it.).

They have stated it as an expansion to mythology. It's in an alternate universe with no bearing on FiM. It's like those episodes of ST: TNG where they go into the dark version of their own reality. Honestly, I don't get the sudden worry of things being canonically ruined.
