I had a heart felt message ready to go, but this is Big Hollywood. If you are going to eulogize somebody, do it in a style they would have liked. So to paraphrase The Last Starfighter:

Death is such a primitive concept, I prefer to think of him fighting evil...in another dimension!

I've always loved Woody the overly friendly coroner. He's always got just one more uncomfortable secret to put you on edge. In a very friendly manner of course.

Compromise, bring in Samoa, Guam and the Mariannas as the 52nd state. Only problem with that is you have to merge the pacific territories into one state to get enough population to avoid being smaller than Wyoming.

Three. There were three Indiana Jones movies. My mind blocked the fourth one from existence. Even for being the worst one in the trilogy, Temple of Doom wasn't that bad. Just needed a strong female lead like 1&3.

And then they wonder why we don't watch their movies anymore.

Sometimes you just want to watch the good guys win and the bad guys lose.

There's a lot of right wingers, they just keep their politics to themselves until pushed. The question is the new shift because of more of us going public with our beliefs or is it a case of rats off a sinking ship?

Because he's celebrating what she did accomplish, not how she died. Before she went and threw it all away but she was very good at what she did in her prime. The talk jocks in my town pointed out that at least they didn't have to censor her songs, unlike a lot of people in her profession. We flew the flag at half staff for Nixon, he made a mockery of the presidency. It's not bad to focus on the positive things, even if just for a moment. Houston, despite her numerous flaws, taught a lot of people you can sing songs that aren't raunchy, write lyrics that aren't obscene and just entertain. The fact she pissed it all away doesn't diminish what she did in that frame.

Great monologues are the ones you remember word for word for years.

Tim the Enchanter from Holy Grail.
Zorg showing off the ZF-1 in Fifth Element
Dillios' closing monologue in 300. (Still gives me tingles)
