I'm so sorry, Mark. As requested, I made a couple of gifs of you two watching Agent Carter together.

I DIDN'T REALIZE THESE WERE HAPPENING! I'D HAVE PREPARED COMMENTS. Knowing no one is going to see this: Peggy joining the rarely noted SOE and Bletchley sets my history buff heart ablaze.

I'm reading too many books rn (maybe I'm trying to read as much as i can before The End) but I just started The Bell Jar by Sylvia Plath. Which, y'know, is a fucking party.

i love TAH! Especially Beyond Belief of course. I met Hal Lublin a few months ago and he did one of his voices for me (the room was too loud for me to hear what he was saying, but the sentiment was appreciated).

new Garbage album out today, and Tegan and Sara last week! I've yet to listen to the former but I'm happy it exists. I'm also teaching myself Joanna Newsom's Cosmia and some of the music to In the Heights. What music are y'all into right now?

I'm sitting up in bed with twenty pound tabby, writing out to the world. A couple nights ago I got to meet one of my favorite authors, Mary Roach and talk about sharks with her! I've been not feeling great otherwise (An increasingly less than ideal living situation, and both mentally and physically my health has gone very downhill. A diagnosis of one physical illness (scoliosis) has allowed me to focus on the part of the wiki page that says causes maybe include tumors, however much that may actually be true for me!) so I'm enjoying my own company a lot right now, obviously. I have six episodes of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend left. I'm loving every single second of it. I found out Tamra Davis, director of Crossroads directed the third episode, and I'm delighted this connection exists. Any other fans of the show around these parts? Philly Toasts, I will have an update on our #toastwake meet-up next week! I think that's everything I meant to say, so I will gracefully exeunt, pursued by a bear.

I'm reading Born with Teeth by Kate Mulgrew, [to warm up for the new season of OitNB. Surprisingly heavy shit!] Notorious RBG, Gay Berlin by Robert Beachy, [research] and Look, I Made a Hat by Sondheim [both to aide with songwriting and as a tribute to my uncle; the anniversary of his death is approaching, and he was a longtime fan and sort of friend of Sondheim]. I'm reading too many books! I need to pick a couple out of these to focus on.

PHILLY TOASTIES! Posting late but I wanted to get this out here once more, since I posted here Friday and there was no Open Thread: There's a free screening of National Treasure at Penn's Landing on June 30th, and I'm also looking for a potentially intimate setting (i.e. a picnic or restaurant?) on July 1. Welcome any feedback.
