I feel like it's not the analysis that is damaging the fandom, for me, it's the over saturation of people analyzing the show. Pointing out the flaws of the show is good (for it shows that MLP is not perfect), but when you multiple people point out the flaws and say they are bad, the fandom immediately dubs those flaws as something that goes against what MLP stands for and as a result, makes people dislike MLP more.
