Because that's the style of games they like to play, idiot. Why make a game that you won't personally enjoy as much if the aim of making one, like you said, is for fun?

You're correct that Fighting is Magic is aimed at fighting game players, but it's not just being aimed at bronies who play them. The whole idea is to make a fighting game that is GOOD enough to be considered competitive. After being at Canterlot Gardens and playing in the tournament myself, I'd say they are definitely doing what they set out to do. Seeing how many people think your comment is ridiculous made me feel a lot better about the way you trashed Mane6's reputation.

If you feel that the learning curve of "professional" fighting games (as you call them) is too steep and you run away crying about it, don't talk badly about the people who stick with it.

So you're saying that if I took a desktop, wired it into an arcade cabinet (which are EASILY purchased, though expensive as expected) and ran Fighting is Magic from it, like it's going to be able to, and charged nothing for it, that would require commercial licensing? Sure.

There are still other fighting cabs available too, so people could play whatever they want as well, I just don't fully understand your argument, especially seeing as how I never mentioned anything monetary going down for Fighting is Magic, especially as non-profit, non-donation, non-throwing-your-money-at-them as they are.

The ability to make an arcade is very feasible, it just comes down to a distinct lack of pony arcade games that could be run from them.
