<description>I caught that in the story but the fact remains that the iconic representative for GEICO just doesn&amp;#039;t look quite as friendly to me as he once did. As I said in my email to GEICO - it&amp;#039;s probably not fair - but that&amp;#039;s how it is. On the upside, not only did I get to follow through on my threat, I ended up saving over $500 in the process! Who knew USAA was so competitive!? :) </description>

<description>This is what I just sent to GEICO: After listening to the voice mail message left at the FreedomWorks press offices by one of the voices that represents GEICO in commercials (Lance Baxter, AKA D.C. Douglas), I find that being a GEICO customer is no longer as appealing to me as it once was so today I am beginning the process of finding new coverage. It may be unfair to punish GEICO for the private actions of a contracted employee but the fact remains that Mr. Baxter&amp;#039;s repugnant message will spring to my mind every time I see the heretofore friendly Gecko, forever tainting the association between the message and the messenger. </description>
