Me and my best friend also argue more than we agree sometimes and we discussed this very same article because after telling him I wrote it of course he wanted to put his two cents in like he does with everything I know that people have different experiences and all of that comes into play when you decide to start a relationship with someone I think that a lot of black couples drag their unresolved baggage with them into a relationship which makes it difficult to just bring yourself to the relationship and not all your issues. You can't have a relationship with someone if you already have trust issues, if you have abuse issues, if you have intimacy issues all of that makes for a�volatile�type of environment that doesn't foster love you are already setting yourself up for failure from the jump. I also thing if you have had a lot of relationship it can ruin you because that's how you get all the baggage in the first place. Not everyone is healthy enough to be invited into your life especially relationship wise but a lot of people don't see that before they jump into something that ruins them potentially. It's good to choose wisely and guard your heart until you know that the person you are dating is worthy enough to be in your life.

I feel like the show is an awesome show and the landscape of America has changed so showing a black woman with a white man especially one she has worked with for years is realistic. Plus her first husband was white so we know that her character already leans that way so it is what it is. Every show's black character is now dating white there are no more black shows on prime time tv, black women are being slandered daily in the news and in every way shape or form and told that we are less attractive in the eyes of others and no one wants us not even our own men so.... it is what it is, I enjoy the show personally so rock on Jada you got one with this show.

OMG yes Clara you are so right on the money with that, the way he disrespected his mother and the way he tried to pacify paula patton's character was just not hot. I personally thought all the characters were underdeveloped and trivial and basic I know in a movie they can't give you a lot of depth but those characters could have been so much better IMO and the whole premise of the movie was just flawed and laughable. Thank you for giving your opinion though I hope you come back and read often.

So let me get this straight this women who was a housekeeper/ personal secretary was victimized and she went on to work there for 20 years so that she could get her retirement, had a son by her employer said it was her then husbands, all while still going to work everyday but she is a victim? The last time I checked victims didn't stay with their abusers until they could retire. The last time I checked a woman who knowingly claims its her husbands child all the while knowing its not is clearly not playing victim. Her ex-husband knew what was going down because he knew the child wasn't his and you mean to tell me all between her and her now ex-husband he didn't come to her aid or try and help her out? Where is the oppression and the victimization that you speak of?

The lady that was the event coordinator was there for comic relief I don't even think they bothered to even name her character and she was way to comfortable with the people she was supposed to be working for and she wasn't that professional and at the end she got with deray's character on the dance floor, it was obvious she got a brotha fetish lol.�

I absolutely applaud you in taking this stand and putting your own bra picture up there. This is sad as hell and speaks to the times that we are in, this man is clearly in pain and I think he wants to hurt his wife back so he came here to let her know hey broad two can play the same game. I think its sad when two people who have walked down the aisle get in this type of situation and don't, or won't, or can't work back from it. When she cheated and when you caught her was the time to make some decisions, and try and work it out. Staying so she don't get half your assets is just ass backwards and putting this other woman in the mix because she is "exotic" is just more ugliness manifesting itself because again you have been hurt. None of what you are doing is healthy hurt people, turn around and hurt people themselves. You can not hope to build anything on an unhealthy foundation you can't string this other woman along and use her as your escape because your wife chose to be a slore and you stayed with her. I hope you guys don't have kids because honestly both of you, your wife and yourself seem like two very selfish and ugly inside individuals. Perhaps you got married to soon whatever the case you need to get in a better head and heart space because clearly you aren't making decisions in the best interest of anyone. Take a break go away from this woman and your wife and get some clarity. Go to whatever higher power you believe in and just take the time to do some soul searching and if at the end of that you believe your actions are still the best then so be it. As far as you worrying about letting her get half your assets you can always declare bankruptcy *shrugs*
