Everyone has a right to marry whomever they want. That's how I personally feel. But with that being said, I just don't believe that's his reason for coming out and saying he supports it. Wasn't it only 2 days ago he said his mind was "evolving" on the topic? My personal opinion: He sent out his staffers to get a feel for how many people want gay marraige, he got a 70% or higher reaction of people who think it's a good idea, so now he's appealing to the majority to win the votes. The problem is, it doesn't mean anything if it doesn't happen. Guantanamo bay is still operating, after all. (I don't have a problem with that) but his major statement going into the elections was he was going to close that evil place down! Didn't happen.
