I agree with Rush a lot of the time, and agree with you that he's a very important figure and we could use his influence to push some sort of project or unity. The problem with your logic is that Rush has a strict priority system and he will tell you so. It's fairly simple: money, then everything else. The dirty little secret is that Rush LOVES when the republicans are out of power and congress is in chaos because his profits skyrocket. People are unhappy, and they look to him to beat the snot out of the other party. He's not interested in forwarding the 9-12 project because there is truly nothing in it for him. Now don't get me wrong, I've got no problem with Rush making money, or Glenn or anyone else for that matter. But I don't think Rush is even in the same league ethically or morally, as Glenn is. He's a brilliant conservative mind, and a grand entertainer. But as long as he's making "Obscene Profits" he doesn't pay attention to these types of causes. The other thing you face here is that Rush views all the other people who do the same thing as him as inferior, and therefore he doesn't pay attention to what they do, and I honestly don't think he cares. I admire your effort, but I don't think he'll take you up on it.

Glenn Beck - The 912 Project : Bonuses at Freddie and Fannie are now in question. Barney Frank says "hold on here"

"EVERY congressman that voted Yea on the 90% bonus taxation that they knew was un-Constitutional. " You forgot to add "retroactive" . It's a horrible precedent, and if they can get away with that I have no doubts they can target ANY citizen. Now I suddenly understand how the distribution of wealth is going to happen.

Personally I think 3 cycles is too long. If they can't prove themselves in the first two years they should be out on their ears.
