I was able to successfully unlock an iphone 4 at 4.3.3. I wasn't sure if SAM would really work so i tried it on my iPhone 4 at 4.3.3 before even thinking of going to 5.0.1. I struggled at first because none of the configurations I made seemed to work....but when I choose "carrier bundles" instead of "by country and..." and choose ATT US it worked perfectly.....I've been unlocked so far :)).... oh i also unlocked a 3gs at 4.1! Cheers

It could be an effect of the tethered jailbreak you are using. Have you tried rebooting with redsn0w?

Use redsn0w, then only checkmark the "just boot tethered" option.. once it boots, try again to see if it works! (im assuming you have a tethered jb if your 3gs is a new bootrom)

IMO if you really need it to be unlocked ASAP then just sacrifice the GPS... Its better to have a partially functioning location service than to have an i without the phone... But if you don't need it unlocked now then you could just wait....In my opinion an iphone is definitely worth the wait :D But thats just me cuz i love my iphone!! lol

As stated in the blog: "A tethered jailbreak means that each time your device loses battery power or needs to be rebooted, you must attach it to a PC or Mac to boot into the jailbroken state." In my opinion if you Can wait, then you should....Not for the next iOS but for the release untethered jailbreak for iOS 4.2.1!!! That way could save yourself a lot of tethered headaches :D hehe! The release of the untethered jb shouldn't be that far away!

You Can jailbreak...but it will be tethered...You Can unlock... but you will have to update your baseband to the ipad bb and you will loose GPS. If you're ok with this and want to proceed I will be happy to help!

If you unlocked by upgrading to the ipad baseband the you will not be able to use GPS... and there is no final untethered jb for 4.2 yet. Do not recommend that you update... If it works as it is now (apart from gps issue) then I suggest that you stay that way, just to be safe. :) Have a nice day!

You should be able to by dragging them into the iphone...or syncing your music library through itunes... The settings to set music syncing to manual or auto are in the iPhone tab in itunes.

I was in the exact same situation that you are in. Try to sync your iphone an then try installing an app from itunes while logged into your account. iTunes should automatically delete anything in the iphone that its not related to your apple id. That is what I did.... Definitely do not recommend restoring the iphone since you will loose jailbreak and unlock for who knows how long! Good luck
