If everyone was completely silent while he was out there, they would have said a lot more then they did with all the chants. The whole point is for a reaction, and whether is "spin" or not or whoever it was directed toward, Roman was the one getting the reaction in that moment.

When Roman comes out he does nothing for me so my reaction is just that. I sit on my hands or I play on my phone or skip his segment altogether. Silence would be the only way to make an impact to let Vince know he is not the guy. The more people cheer, boo or chant, the more his is going to be shoved down our throats. Period.
