Some workers objected to this policy as they would have to shave their beards off (think ZZ Top!!), and went to the Industrial Relations Tribunal to appeal this policy and lost. They had to shave there beards off if they wanted to keep their jobs and did. Even now, if you are not clean shaven the security guards will give you a razor and point out the toilets to you and tell you to come back when you have had a shave. If you want the job, you follow the rules and try and make the rules change to suit you.
