I see your point-totally! :) But, it wasn't chaotic-it was very laid back, and it's not as though we weren't experienced. He had a child from a previous marriage and I didn't submit to God until I was 22.

Boundaries-Yes. Establishing them helps to lay the foundation of your expectations. While my fiance we're seeing each other our foundational boundaries were: no sex, no kissing on the lips. Done. That should cover it. So yeah-our first kiss on the lips was when the pastor said, "you may now kiss the bride." Ain't no shame! :D

I'm not sure you missed any, but I'm totally intrigued by #21......veddy interesting! We have no female worship leaders in our church, but there are usually 3 females backing up the male. And yes, they rock the hoop earrings, scarves, and boots over jeans. One of them, usually gives a wink and a tiny wave to my 6 year old daughter, which is pretty cool cuz it makes my daughter feel like a rock star :)

8 1/2 years ago when we got married I suffered from constipation for 3 months. Nuttin but rabbit pellets for 3 months! Anyway, he started praying for me to be able to poop. In his bold uncensored self, he said, "wow, hon, i've never prayed for someone to take a s**t before." So, yeah, I've been "regular" for 8 years now!

My mom-whoa. Now is saved and redeemed by the blood of Jesus! What she went through before that-it's amazing she lived. She had me at 19 and one year later was imprisoned. She was a teenager in the 70s. She was a juvenile delinquent, ended up in jail as an adult, several times. addicted to drugs and alcohol. a prostitute. homeless in the mountains of Colorado for several years. She would walk to her receptionist job-8 miles one way. She had one work outfit. The socks didn't match. God brought her through it all. She remarried, she's clean and sober. God restored her relationship with me, and now my mom is an integral part of my life I could never live without.

I bought it with intentions to give it to my pastor for his birthday. Yeah,about opening up the book with honeymoon sex........awkward! :D LOL. I bit the bullet and gave it to him anyway....I figured hey he's our age/generation, and has the same sense of humor, so he'll "get" it, right? I hope so! Awesome book btw, Jon.

About 11 years ago I got a really horrible short haircut-a la Winona Ryder. I do NOT look like Winona Ryder and thus the haircut was a mistake. I was sobbing in my car and talking to God apologizing for being such an idiot for crying over a haircut! I then composed myself to go into a store, making sure I didn't look as though I had been crying. A car with an older couple drove by in the parking lot, rolled down their window and said, "Love your hair! That looks really nice!" I was flabbergasted. They had no idea what I was just going through and I truly believe God used them to console me.
