HillBuzz.org : Rush Limbaugh Excoriates Mitt Romney Today

Right now I am more concerned about Santorum actually winning the nomination. Nice guy but my bones tell me he will be a disaster in the general election. Best outcome right now is a brokered convention in which none of the characters, and I mean characters, running now are selected. Know that would probably end up with a Daniels candidacy but I'll take my chances with him rather than , ugh, Santorum. Once again the Republicans appear to the party of stupid.

Fame was her candle and like a moth she spiraled in until it consumed her. Sad that the talented sometime are unable to handle their gift. Shame, yes. Unexpected, no. RIP Whitney.

HillBuzz.org : Rick Santorum at CPAC: Is This the 45th President of the United States?

Nope.com. Nice guy, but nice guys finish last. Have strong reservations about him as Amjean and others have expressed. He benefits right now because he is an ABR candidate. Other than that he holds little appeal for me. Tomorrow (Saturday) will no doubt remind everyone of who would be crushing the field had she decided to run and what a candidate will real vision sounds like. All of them are now mimicking the themes she first championed. But none hold a candle to her. Sigh. What could have been.

HillBuzz.org : James Manning Interviews Doug Vogt on What Happened at Obama Eligibility Hearing on January 26th, 20

I'm with the Dogs Against Romney folks. When I first heard about this poor dog in 2008, it just creeped me out about Romney's lack of common sense. It was a 12 HOUR drive ! Not only is there the potential of the carrier flying off the roof, it could have caused a serious, maybe fatal accident for other drivers on the road. Just too stupid for words. As a kid, my large family always traveled with pets prone to car sickness, but they still rode in the back of the station wagon....with lots of towels. The luggage went on the roof in the carrier.

Big Hollywood : Marvel Studios Now Making the Lazy Comic Cash-Ins It Was Founded to Replace

Captain America could have been great instead of merely good. Where they went wrong was sci-fying it up. First half of the movie was thoroughly enjoyable. The second half was "leaning my head on my hand and saying 'Really?' Oh well. Thor was enjoyable, just glad I waited to watch on DvD rather than in the theaters.

HillBuzz.org : Oh My! Newt's South Carolina Miracle?

You've never heard of Lean Six Sigma? It's a quality/efficiency program that's been all the rage in American business for over 10 years. Based on Deming's work in Japan. It started in manufacturing, but now companies in all lines of business have adopted it. Frankly, in pretty much every company I've worked for that went all gung ho on Six Sigma it never really made much difference, but I think the principles lend themselves more to some businesses than others. Anyway, bottom line, the Federal Government, where they DESPERATELY need to get more efficient, will NEVER adopt a system that will make them so.

Big Hollywood : Top 15 Christmas Moments in TV and Film

"The muppets did the best version of "A Christmas Carol"? I beg to differ. That's not even the best musical version of the classic tale. The 1970 musical "Scrooge" with Albert Finney is vastly superior in every way to the muppet version" Hear, hear, JumpMaster! Albert Finney's performance in this gem of a movie is the definitive Scrooge for me. Scrooge should have been in the top five, IMHO http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YJ4LMROqeA

HillBuzz.org : Ron Paul's Newsletters: What Should He Have Known About His Ghostwriters?

Unfortunately the world does need a policeman. Question is who fills that role? The Chinese? The Russians? I don't think so. I think the rest of the world would agree. For better or ill turns out that it is the United States that is best suited for that role. The world has benefited mightily from Pax America.

HillBuzz.org : Sarah Palin on the GOP Field

For those that truly want meaningful reforms in this country all you have to remember are ten easy letters when you write-in the preferred candidate on your ballot: S-A-R-A-H P-A-L-I-N. But a write-in may not be needed after all. She is making noises in recent interviews that quite possibly she'll be entering the race. Maybe that was her plan all along: to enjoy one last Christmas in peace with the family and allow all the other candidates to get their vetting before jumping in. Maybe even anticipating that Ron Paul will win in Iowa and knowing that would be the only way Mr. Paul would get his turn at being vetted. She knew that had she gotten in on 10/5 that Perry, Bachmann, Cain and Gingrich wouldn't have gotten their vetting as the media would have concentrated solely on her. Now all have had their turn under the media's spotlight and all have wilted from the glare. Might go beyond brilliant if she does make a late entry. Undecided is winning the contest right now and there are many that would instantly flock to her banner. Let's hope so.

'Always thought provoking' is what one has to say about Mr. Hitchens. As Mr. Notle states above, Mr. Hitchens always brought his A game to any argument/discussion, and while you might disagree with his position, you had to admire the thought and reasoning that went into it.
