Nice Mav. That is why I took the punt too on The big O. You raise big cash for the switch and you will also have the DPP swingset with Cameron!! I don't have Darcy. That's perfect. With the extra cash it raised last week, I was able to afford Lachie Neale. Sometimes in this caper, you have to take some ballsy risks, otherwise you simply can not make up ground on the top echelon of coaches. Gotta risk it for the biskit as they say. Cheers mate. TH

So what you are saying we will NOT receive 3 extra trades in addition to the 34 trades awarded so far.(Making 37) Instead, we can use 1 extra trade during the 3 bye rounds. That means Id only have 8 instead of 11 trades left. Have I got that right?

Hi Mav. I took a huge punt last week and traded in big Oscar Mc Inerney. I have Draper on the bench as cover. It could have blown up in my face spectacularly, but with GAWN out again this week, it appears to have paid off. For coaches who still have big Max, the safe thing to do IMO is trade him out for the next best ruck man. And that probably is Todd Goldstein if you have Grundy as the other. Goldy was set to have his bye in round 15, so with the new SC playing conditions, his bye now is of no consequence to coaches. Gawn to Goldstein will net coaches $145K which can then be used to strengthen other lines. If you want more cash after trading out Gawn, then you look at cheaper premo spekkie rucks like Nic Nat, Marshall, The big O etc. Cheers. TH

Hi community,

So let me get this right. After last night's announcement, Super coach will award coaches another 3 trades for the upcoming bye rounds. Then round 15 is a Supercoach bye as well. (No head to head competition) We can still be allowed to use 3 trades during this round. Then as of next week and the remaining rounds thereafter, we can use 2,3,3,3,2,2 trades. That is a total of 15 trades. It therefore means that coaches who still have 15 trades after round 12 (this round) can trade uninterrupted for the rest of the season. Coaches who have been uber discliplined and still have 16 or more trades left will leave unused trades come season end. I have 11 trades left going into the last 6 rounds. As such, I need to save 4 trades during this time. Personally, I am quite happy with my position amongst all this uncertainty. Is my assessment of the above correct? Or have I overlooked or misunderstood some aspects? Lastly, how are other coaches positioned (trade wise) for the final run home? Cheers. TH

I decided to go Bytel, with Gresham out indefinately. I dont trust Horse with rooks, and Wicks was a flaky rook option anyway. I watched Bytel very closely last week and he looked right at home in the Saints team. Hope I am right because if he is "omitted" when teams drop I will be spewing! LOL

Agreed CC. Very happy to get Williams last night. At 468K he was the perfect premo pick up with money being so tight this season. Lets hope he stays fit, because if he does, he will get his hands dirty for us every week. He was excellent last night amongst a mob of insipid sooks.
