Our country is deep fiscal trouble, partly due to obscene tax breaks/loopholes for the biggest earners (corporations)... tax rates are lower today than they were 10 years ago... Clinton's higher tax rates ushered one of the strongest growth periods in this nations history. $$$ is needed for the gov. to do things like fix roads, build schools, pay cops, and feed poor people - don't forget we also need to buy guns for our decade long wars.
