Trent - I didnt respond to your "test" because you like to debate using extreme examples. Of course we need a level of taxation and I feel it should be a minimum amount (Deense, roads and interstate commerce) As you know, saving some mouse in California is the lefts idea of helping your brother. What the leftists are trying to do is overhaul the reach of the government to provide sub par services to every conceivable group to win votes. You know this and like it. I prefer rolling up my sleeves and volunteering, making money so I can give more away and employing as many people as possible in my business. That, my little leftie, is the American way. That is the "can do" attitude and not the nanny state you so desire. I believe the American way is to help eachother. I beleive in physically doing it yourself instead of passing the buck to uncle sam and releiving your liberal little heart of its guilt.
