no. i'm obligated under the law. I pay taxes because I have to. we left a reasonable tax burden in the rear view, decades ago. but I still pay. then when we've had enough, movements like the tea party manifest. which is about the same point at which liberals begin to tire of the whole accountability, free speech, freedom of choice , thing

I don't allow tuition rates to skyrocket. or not. nor the price of gas. or bread. there are inexpensive colleges and expensive colleges. some kids are college material and some aren't. you want the kid who enters the trades to subsidize the college education of his former classmate? there are a number of ways to finance an education. one of the reasons for the runaway inflation is because very few kids parents actually write a check for the full amount of their kids education. that's a rarity.

"The Republicans and more specifically the TPartiers, would risk crashing the US economy and even the world economy in order to beat Obama in 2012" your premise is baseless. our debt was downgraded for the first time in 7 decades because of reckless spending and the unwillingness to do anything about it. That can be laid at the feet of both democrats and republicans but it certainly can not be laid at the feet of the tea party. you are either blindly partisan or not very aware if you perceive the tea party's objective of fiscal responsibility to be a bigger threat to our nation that our inability to responsibly manage a budget. the talking point up to the vote was that if we didn't raise the ceiling we'd see a downgrade. SURPRISE!!! we got it anyway because the professional political class in washington won't address the problem. the SINGULAR reason the debt ceiling didn't go up on auto pilot was due to the tea party influence. if you want to make the case that throwing more bad money after bad is good for America I'm all ears. and since obama has proven bad for America, defeating him in '12 is the patriotic thing to do

this is a little tiresome. as you know the branch of gov't with authority to tax/spend was controlled solely by democrats during the period when these record debts were accrued. do you have a comprehension problem or are you just that blindly partisan that you ignore reality?

'social orientation'... that's a good one. you have your catch phrases, I have mine. and to include China, a ruthless communist dictatorship with the others renders your post nonsensical. @ 1.6 TRILLION OF DEBT this year good luck making the case that we're overlooking the environment.... maybe you cats can scam a few bucks off the global warming hysterics. money has no soul chief. only liberals bring emotion to the quantitative. I want the companies I invest in to pay a dividend. and 'we the people' would lead one to believe that 'we the people' share in our nations obligations. that would include the unpatriotic (according to Joe) 47% of Americans who pay no income taxes. I guess they just don't care. so the tea partiers are greedy for digging in their heels @ 15 trillion (40 trillion in current unfunded obligations) but the liberal spendaholics who've saddled future generations with mind numbing debt are what? philanthropists? I'm surprised that the tea party polls that high given the hatchet job done against them by the media.

"We as a society have needs that perhaps you don't feel like you are obliged to support." I am obligated at the point of a gun. your definition of charity I suppose. and the criminal abuse of those tax dollars by corrupt politicians I suppose draws a pass from your judgement because they 'care'. or some such nonsense I suppose you both want to choose the charities to which I commit my time and treasure. nice ego

no. the bottom 47% of income earners pay 0 F.I.T. The 'rich' are paying an inordinate % on higher incomes. i.e. more dollars to the treasury than 'the poor' (thanks in no small part to the Bush Tax cuts which cut rates for all Americans)
