"You don't know the difference between public and private unions? " -- Your vilifying propaganda against United Auto Workers is no different than your propaganda against the "union thug" 3rd grade teacher, 9/11 first responder, manufacturer of military carriers and jets, oil rig workers, truck drivers, or any of the rest. You're the Brown Shirt coward who won't crawl out from behind the propaganda and meet your fellow Americans face to face and see for yourself who they really are. Nope...better to hide behind "union thug" propaganda.

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a Jew.

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

His government was big enough to restrict and regulate an individual's freedom and liberties to conform to the paradigm dictated by the collective for the "greater good". You know...TEA PARTY!!!

I would never accuse you of being what you're so eager to prove you are, yourself.

There's the "union thugs" propaganda again. Worked for Hitler because cowards would not crawl out from under the propaganda and meet the thugs and see for themselves who they really are. Brown Shirt cowards. Brown Shirt cowards propagate the following as cowards:

Fire fighters
police officers
carpenters
plumbers
electricians
steel workers
maritime workers
corrections officers
auto workers
dock workers
defense contractors
aviation contractors
roofers
construction workers
railway workers
lumberjack workers
oil rig and pipeline workers
Teachers

Thug "kool aid" that teaches the good Hank to hide behind his propaganda rather than meeting the "thugs" he is scared sh#tless to meet and see for himself. Brown Shirt coward.

Today there are hearings in Congress about a religion and a threat to the greater good created by that religion.

In 1933, the Third Reich propagated a declaration of war from the Jews onto the good people of Germany. Common folk were brainwashed into believing an entire religion was a threat to national security because of the actions of a few. There were hearings, studies and legislation that dealt with this threat that was accepted because it was for national security and for the greater good...the final solution.

It's there but I did notice earlier that I couldn't find it (your original post). Now, there both there.

The expected sacrifice of the people for the perceived "common good" and the perceived "common good" never seems to get any better. Instead...worse.

"In 1933, the Nazis disbanded the Weimar unions and replaced them with the new and improved union," -- And over the past 30 years, a system in place that made America strong has been slowly disbanded and replaced with a weaker but more commonly accepted system. This new system is creating a serious amount of havoc but somehow, gets blamed on the old system that barely exists now and never created this havoc to begin with.

Common propaganda: "Unions prevent job growth" Unions only make up about 7% of the total workforce and a major portion of that is public sector. This means capitalists who need all sorts of entitlement programs and considerations because they create jobs, have minimally a 93% opportunity to create jobs. So? Where are they? Blame those who actually create jobs to protect those who take them away.

Common propaganda: "Unions are harmful to small businesses" In my community over the past several years, many small businesses have gone bankrupt and went completely under. Probably about 7 of them. Unions? No...Super WalMart built down the road.

Common propaganda: "Unions are weakening our economy" These "Super Capitalists" at global retailers like Super WalMart that are entitled to special considerations and tax entitlements drove out good paying jobs and replaced them with substandard jobs that border on violating workers rights. Low paying jobs selling Chinese merchandise, 3rd world textiles, Canadian prescriptions, Mexican electronics, illegal immigrant produced agri-goods. Selling merchandise that under union watch, weren't allowed without a serious profit for America in tariffs and taxes from foreign, sub-standard goods.

Common propaganda: "Union Socialists want wealth redistribution" In post WWII America when unions were strong and respected in America, the average salary of a CEO was 10 to 20 times greater than the average worker's salary. Over the past 30 years, the ration paradigm has shifted to where the average CEO's salary is now 300 to 500 times greater than the average worker's salary. THAT is wealth redistribution.

Propaganda is how Hitler was able to vilify the opposition and create a totalitarian form of government. You can attack unions and eliminate the Democrat party and have a one party totalitarian form of government. The so-called "German Labor Front" that was created under the perception of sacrificing for the greater good is no different then the Tea Party who expects sacrifices for the greater good and the greater good keeps getting worse and worse.

"or you can fix the mess that his stupid ilk have made... " -- We've been hearing you demanding sacrifices for the past 30 years and the mess hasn't been fixed yet? I'm educated enough to see that this "mess" you keep propagating about isn't getting fixed.

You're taxes aren't getting lower, your cost of living is getting lower, your quality of life isn't getting better, inflation isn't getting any better, the debts aren't getting any lower. Instead, they keep getting worse. And those causing this brainwash you into blaming everybody else but them. I'm educated enough to see that.

"Yeah, I thought it might be Thomas Jefferson or somebody....didn't you? " -- No, I didn't! When you hear propaganda like "public service thugs need to be abolished because of the good of our nation's debt" and you continue over and over again to hear this propaganda and yet the deficit keeps going up and up and nobody's taxes keep getting any lower...I think Tea Party.

I don't think Thomas Jefferson, I see the exact same propaganda against the extorted sacrifices of the working class and those who try to defend themselves from it are branded as "thugs" and demonized with some mafia related vilification from 40 years ago.

I see brown shirts obedient enough to believer that their 3rd grade teacher is now a union thug. I see brown shirts over and over again, referring to people as "thugs" because they're too much of cowards to come and meet these "thugs" face to face and see for themselves who these "thugs" really are. Cowards didn't want to put a face to the propaganda when it comes to Jews either.

Maybe you should read your own post over again so you understand it's meaning better.

No I agree you're a hypocrite for exact same reason you claim Piers is a hypocrite. You demonize biased media while never leaving your biased media like a baby who never wants to leave it's crib. If biased media is so bad, what the hell you doing here, then?

And I could give two craps about Piers...I never watched him. It's your brown shirt rant obsession, not mine.

"No one is talking about eliminating a political party," -- Read the comments on these websites. How many people angry because unions contribute to the Democrat party as if this isn't America and that's not allowed. You know you would love to eliminate all opposition to your own party ideology and that is totalitarianism.

First they came for the communists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a communist.

Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I didn't speak out because I wasn't a trade unionist.

Then they came for the Jews,

Then they came for me
and there was no one left to speak out for me.

Yeah...do you? Can you hear us way back there in 1960, you brown shirt coward?

Only an ignorant Nazi would believe their 3rd grade teacher (you dropped out before meeting her obviously) is a "union thug" with ties to the mafia.
