The beauty of Nashville is that it has a small town flavor. It's a small town, yet it truly is the Country Music Capital of the World with all the extraordinary benefits that go along with it... if you want a pair of cowboy boots, walk down main street and you will find 4-shops with every size & shape to meet any budget (something you can't find anywhere else close by). Every restaurant & pub has live country music - free of charge (even though it's excellent) and they welcome you like an old friend. Parking is "Free" in Nashville... try that in NY or Chicago! You can find the local spots away from the main stream yet have access to beautiful malls with the chains stores like "Hard Rock". It would be an honor to call Nashville home!

Hello Nashville!!! Nashville is only 5-hours away for us, so we've visited Nashville many times. We truly love Tennessee, and the face of this part of the country is truly touched by God - It's beauty is majestic. Birdland is one of our most favorite haunts, The Rutledge along with the Country Music Hall of Fame, Bailey's and Bridgestone Arena. I can't imagine the opportunity to live there. If I had to choose a place to live within the US, this would definitely be on the top of my list... and we would walk in to the community with friends in place. See you in March 2014!

The Rustic Beauty of this home makes it spectacular coupled with the natural light in every room. PS: The amber glow of the outdoor lighting is breathtaking... I don't think I could bring myself to leave the deck and outdoor spaces! With the grill as a food source and an outdoor shower... you know where to find us, and what would it be like if we DID actually see a dolphin?? My Son is studying Environmental Science @ Hocking College right now. In my minds eye, I can hear him calling to the Song Birds and rattling off scientific names as he stares in amazement at God's creation.... yes, I guess it's true.... we bought in to the dream. Oh how we would love to go as I've watched the Time Lapse Build, explored every fabric (Linda, I agree... Draperies adds brilliance to the home) explored the play room, tilt & turn windows, 150 lb. gate art pieces, Ming inspired furnishings, and coffee nook created just for me... every piece of this home has been chosen perfectly and hand placed, to the rustic weathered "lived-in" picture frames to the Oak & Pine trees allowed to remain on the property... it's hurts too badly when you can't call it your own..... but so grateful to Dream.... Love you HGTV!

Thank you for posting this Mary. I love watching the Time-Lapse Photo slideshows! It's amazing to me.. it's like watching the rearing of a child, and so grateful to see a work of art and master piece at it's completion (so glad they lost the blue ;-). Conceptually perfect... more time to enjoy the outdoors, energy efficient and cost effective, with all the components of a perfect community and living area. HGTV just keeps getting better & better!

I would suggest the Great Room... there's a green bench right in front of the French Doors leading to the Marsh with a beautiful view and lots of natural light... or the Apple Green Chair & ottoman would work wonderfully as well. There's a huge plant behind the chair right now, however there is a floor lamp in the room which could be positioned behind the chair for a blend of natural & artificial light... just perfect! The black ottoman by the window would work comfortably for the 15 minute morning worship to start the day... with coffee of course. There's sooooo..... many options, good luck with that one! ;-)

Oh... what would we do! Kenny & Emily would go fishing! Chris would take a hike or a bike ride, and I would visit the Historic Homes, gather my family together for a nice dinner at a family restaurant... the boys would relax in the upstairs loft living area, and I would be saying my prayers in the living room down stairs... such a dream!
