"Progressive" has been in use by the left for at least 100 years if not longer. At that time, it was a fairly accurate depiction. Now, if you accept the definition of "conservative" to mean someone who wishes to maintain the established order, that would apply to all liberals, communists, occupiers, and progressives.
Today's true liberals are John Stossel/Ron Paul libertarians and tea partiers. Welcome to a wonderful world of universal "literacy" where simply being able to read advertising renders one literate.

Playing out in front of our very eyes is the proof that there is almost zero difference between today's American "liberal" and Lenin, Mao, Stalin, Hitler, Castro, Pol Pot, and too many others who have murdered well over one hundred and fifty MILLION of their own people all in the name of the "Greater Good."

Sarah Hall Ingram, who ran the "Get The Christians & Conservatives" branch of the IRS is now in charge of the Death Panel operation over at ObamaCare. Nervous yet, anyone?

"Everyday in other countries, thousands and thousands of Muslims are being killed by Jews and Christians, but we're not saying anything against them are we?" WHAT? Where do you get that kind of libelous garbage?

"Muhammad was the first person to treat women fairly." Jesus came before Muhammad, and HE wasn't even the first person to treat women fairly. Good grief!

A son of an Imam married one of my nieces. He is a walking disaster, treats her miserably. His mother is an abused woman, and shows it regularly. I know these Musselmen, and they are cowardly scum.

If you had your "facts" straight, your comment might be worth looking at. As it stands, however, your comment is without merit.

All those Jolly Musselmen practicing the political religion of Islam have wreaked death, dismay and destruction for centuries. They have achieved the dubious honor of lowering the collective GDP of the 57 States to somewhere beneath South Dakota's GDP. The way that they treat their women is just about the way we should be treating them - lop off their genitalia and be done with it.

The nine eleven attacks WERE caused by American policies:

1. One nation under God - not Allah.
2. Individual Liberty - not subservience to some air-head mullah.
3. Economic prosperity that flourished under 1 & 2 above.
4. Which created the wealthiest poor people in the history of mankind.
5. Which gave rise to the phenomenal envy of a rapidly decaying society - Islam.

We will flourish while they fall into the abyss. Good riddance.

Picking on this church or that is folly. It is also ridiculously easy. All these churches are functions of mankind's proclivity for socializing and gathering in groups. God, in His Wisdom, may find a worthy soul here or there, but I doubt seriously that He will give a pass to all the Presbyterians in Glasgow. (Or Musselmen in Egypt, for that matter.)
