Right. So - please remember that this is a first date and that the LMF and I have known each other for all of 30 minutes - he starts steering the conversation toward Disney cartoons and Disney princesses and asks whether I'm aware that certain dating sites exist for Disney...enthusiasts. I wasn't, although academically, I suppose there's a dating site for everyone/-thing.

He then goes on to tell me that Ariel ishis favorite, that he's \"really\" Prince Eric and that his place is full of Little Mermaid dolls, posters, animation cells, costumes, etc, and that he's been writing to the artist who designed Ariel \"for years\" in an attempt to get a custom Ariel drawing that he can use as a tattoo design and that he was so excited to meet me because of my red hair. He's 45.

...and this is why I tend to keep my own kinks under wraps until at least date #5.

We call them Old Maids....which I assumed was a regional Vermont/New England thing when I moved to NYC and no one knew what I was talking about. But now, I'm starting to suspect that "we" = my immediate family and not Vermonters/New Englanders.

A colleague brought me an entire (!) container of homemade sugar cookies - her grandmother's recipe and my favorite cookies ever - as a present. It is all I can do not to eat the entire box right now. I could have one now, though....10:30am could be cookie time, right? Right?
