/Film : Question: How Has the PG-13 Rating Changed Over The Years (if at all)?

I'm at an age where it doesn't matter what a film's rating is. If I am generally interested in the flick, I will go and see it whether it's rated R or G. The rating does nothing to sway my opinion about a film. I do think that some things that are rated in a film are a joke. Cigarette Smoke. Really? Pretty soon they're going to cut car chases in films unless they are hybrid/electric vehicles to try and lure people away from carbon producing vehicles.

My friends and I were pretty surprised about the rating of The Watchmen here in Winnipeg. And because of that, there were a number of kids brought into the theater to watch the film and I honestly don't think they should have seen that, even f they were brought by their parents. The violence in that film was pretty graphic and I think because of that, the film should have been rated higher here. Not because of the sex or Dr. Manhattan scenes, just the violence.

/Film : Judd Apatow's Funny People: The Films of George Simmons

This movie sounds like it will allow Sandler to bring back some of the range that was seen in SNL. That MerMan clip has 90s SNL all over it.

It's a good thing that I aquired the Transformers series free of charge, so I won't feel bad buying the Shout! Factory's release.
